I work on GT-R’s a lot here at my shop and you need to invest in a good quarter panel hammer and dolly kit. If you had a good heel dolly and wedge dolly, you could’ve easily worked and moved the metal then prepared it for a thin coat of mud! It’s fairly easy, since the metal is thin, but it heats up extremely fast! As soon as you pulled the welder out ~ I cringed! That metal retains heat, specially temperature and will obviously start a fire 🔥🔥....sure enough, smoke starts coming out of the trunk. Anything can be fixed or built. Keep up the hard work. The only way you learn anything is to try. If you don’t succeed then do it again, until you’re successful mate! . Cheers from Western Australia!

this is a 2 day job with one guy about 10 hours labor total. . where do you get this BS about 2 weeks labor and 5 guys. any body shop that did that would be out of business.
@@13christbane nope. It actually happens in So Cal all the time. Especially being that people would much rather pay a auto body shop when they get into an accident. They don't report it to their insurance because of the cost rising. In fact. One of the most common small claims court and civil court cases are about this issue. People getting into accidents and the person at fault agreeing to get it repaired. They end up having an issue picking a mechanic, due to mechanic inflating costs. Ultimately they have to sue to get the person at fault to pay
@@yesDX people in cali must be fools to pay shops like that. I have been in business for 15 years and do not fleece anyone like that nor could I get away with it if I did.
@@13christbane yeah man it's crazy. Some people are so eager to try and save a dollar, but end up paying more in the end. But that's what happens in areas where it's crowded and the cost of living constantly rises
I bet Billy's wife hates doing laundry 😂 btw if you need to weld a hole in thin steel you can put a piece of aluminum behind it and it doesn't stick to the aluminum or burn through.
They make copper plates for this not aluminum
Aluminium works great for this aswell if u push out on the weld with the backer while it's hot it will stop I sinking back in too
I love the gtr build because its so customizable and has so many available mods can't wait to see if y'all do any performance mods 👀
Just a little helpful tip with that stud gun if you use it without a stud in it you can use it to shrink the metal
"Pop pies" 🤣🤣
Finally love love to the GT-R, btw is Thomas jealous of the new kid or something? Where he has been?
Thomas was in the second last video @ 9:30 in Rebuilding A Wrecked 2019 DRZ 400 Supermoto Part 2
DUDE! I go to school there! CCS! I got my acura TL sitting in that lot there where y'all drove by to get some "pot pies" lol
You guys should do a SUV fixer upper, after some completed builds. Trick it out to go mudding and stuff
Max is the perfect addition to goon squad.
My favorite car ever is a gtr I hope I can get one one day but I’ve been here since 500k and y’all deserve every sub and like y’all get!!! Keep making the great content
I think I was more upset someone hit your GTR then y'all were!
It good content($) for them... someone hits my car/truck, I make $ too lol
fire extinguishers should be mounted near exits. You don;t want to have to go further into a building in order to reach an extinguisher.
12bucklemyshoe1 if the building is on fire a fire extinguisher
Won’t work and what if there’s a fire deep inside the building. Sorry to burst your bubble buddy
Boring_Will a portable extinguisher could potentially keep a small fire from becoming a large structure fire. Placement is usually in normal travel paths, for accessibility The building size and potential type fire hazzards ultimately determine number, placement, distance between, size, and class of extinguishers. Always a good idea to have them don't you agree?
Fire extinguishers should be at the site of a fire risk.. I.e. in the boot.
The only requirement is that they are in accessible locations,
Paul yeah but he’s saying that you won’t want to go into a burning building to grab a extinguisher but if the building is already on fire that much I doubt it’ll be effective
Poor quarter panel. Could have easily been done with PDR then scuffed and painted to have no filler and a burned backside. Your tailgate on the truck too. Love the channel and keep up the good work!!
I really enjoy how positive you guys are about everything. Except potpies ;)
Got notifications from Goozsquad, Doug DeMuro, Cleetus McFarland and Donut Media 🤙🏼
