You should ask your fellow TH-camr Mark E. Miller if he can be your photographer/ videographer. He does really great work, he's "family" and although he no longer lives in LA, he is forever travelling so I doubt that coming back to LA would be an problem. (Other than that, YOU LIVE IN VIDEGRAPHER CENTRAL -LOL! Try a local film school or call one of the studios and ask for recommendations. Better yet, throw a rock out your window and whoever it hits, use them 🤪🌈❤🤣 You are surrounded by options. In the words of Tim Gunn, "Make it work"

Hi Guys, My Husband and I got married now 2 years ago, and I can still remember the stress LOL. A couple things to remember, for the photos after vows if you are doing those, get the venue to bring you some apps or food, as we missed the apps at ours with the photos but our venue brought us food, which saved us from getting plastered too early. But most importantly remember that its your day, so its what you want. Do it for you and don't let the little things get in the way as if anything that goes wrong and not to plan, only you both will know and your guests will have no idea.

We did get lucky. After being together for almost 3 Decades, Marriage became Legal in the USA. (Here too, but that is another story!) We helped select a favorite venue for the Post Wedding Dinner, and that basically was the extent of our input. My Sister and my Mom handled everything else. Our son flew in from the East Coast and we were married in my Sister' Living Room in front of a very small group, (that included my 93 year old Mom) then off to the Dinner with several more folks. It was Magical. Only stresses we had concerned Our flights, and stuff. Good Luck men! You will love every minute.

My biggest issue working from home is not having that commute to get myself out of “home” mode into “work” mode…and usually I have a coffee before I leave home and when I arrive at the office! So the shuffle from bedroom to kitchen to office doesn’t quite cut it!
The “save the date” is very cute.

Talking about dreaming things aren’t organised, the night before our wedding (totally NOT a dream) I rang my fiancé just before midnight (he panicked…until I said why) to say we forgot the champagne flutes had spot been picked up!
Then on the day, I arrived at the venue to be shuffled into another room to wait until my mother-in-law arrived.
Then our photos were being taken at a hotel outside, and it POURED rain.
And arrived at the reception venue to find out our caterer was running behind…ultimately I was grateful for that because I was exhausted and it gave us an hour to rest in a quiet room for a while!
Enjoy your day, don’t stress too much over the little things. What’s important is that you are celebrating your love for each other in front of family and friends. That’s what you’ll remember.
(I also remember my now 18yo niece sitting on my lap playing with a toddler toy that vibrated…during the speeches…she was not yet 3!).

For photos one good idea I've seen at weddings are have disposable cameras on each of the tables at the reception for the guests to take photos during the night. For you to develop and look at down the road.

My best recommendation for DJ is just to make your own playlist!!! You’ll know what’s coming and you can dictate the vibe!!! If not there are a few people who make playlists for a living and can make one for y’all!!

This doesn't help, but don't be stressed. I worked from a home office for 20 yrs and it helped me to set very firm "work hours" to stop the constant working 💛 Love all your happy updates with Mike cooking as backdrop!

Stress doesn't need to happen! I had this boss who would totally stress out w computers when she couldn't get something to work for her. I'd help her but had her do it on her own so she'd know how to do it herself, no need to stress or get excited, if I don't know how to fix it, trust that I know someone who does!! It's that simple, trust in yourself that what you're stressing over will get taken care of because did it right or know someone who will!!

I’m getting married October 8th and I’ll tell you, the best thing we did was chose an all inclusive wedding venue!! Wedding planning is hard, stressful and gives you anxiety BUT the process is also fun, exciting and just so much love! Best of luck planning and I’m so excited to see this video!!

Most important to remember, the wedding is for you guys.
The cost can easily get out of control, much like building a house. Write things down on a list. It’s so easy to forget, just don’t loose the list.
Like a DJ or possibly live music can be costly. Everyone has music on their pads, phones, or… Have you thought of selecting music on your phone with a shuffle so the type of songs will constantly change. Attach speakers, u can even rent large ones with adapters to plug into your phone. Voilá.
Have you thought of going to a Pastry School to see if they could make your wedding cake cheaper maybe even free. It would be great practice for the students.
Because of round 2 of this crazed epidemic, outside in a public park might be an option.
Lost your engagement ring.. LOL LOL And both laugh about it HAHAHAHAHA too funny
Best advise I’ve ever gotten was years ago when I totaled my mom's car. Yeah I know..
She said it's just a car. It has no feelings, it felt nothing. No one was hurt which all that really matters.
So if U can remember to laugh thru the hard times, they seem to never stay long..

Pro Tip. Have someone go a fast place after the party ends and buy a ton of food. People are going to be hungry and drunk. My Husband and I got 20 100 cases of White Castle burgers and handed them out to everyone who was there. Low key Best Wedding Ever.
