TH-cam seems to be a backpacking trip and a long-distance marathon to go on alone and far away. I hope that your channel will gradually develop as you strive for your dreams and that it will continue to thrive as a very large channel. I want to give you Outside the small but simple and beautiful cafe window, it is getting brighter in the dark blue atmosphere for a peaceful morning. Thank you to the algorithm that made it possible to enjoy your videos happily for a while. I am not lonely and I am so happy that I happened to watch your videos in the endless universe-like TH-cam world. After watching your video, thinking about it now, your video came to my heart and instilled emotion and happiness in me. I spend today drawing happiness in all the videos I love and pour my passion into the TH-cam world. When I watch your video while watching your video while the petals soaked in the spring rain whistle, even the clean memories. My dream crosses the waves in the distance. I open my phone while looking at the view of the cherry blossom trees in the window welcoming the early morning in a green atmosphere. As the algorithm introduced, I just looked down
Thank you for the nice comment. Cheers, Scott
Been enjoying your videos, and I do stairs as well. I use a marking knife all the time, but when you are marking for the notch, I really recommend using a marking gauge for several reasons. First is they are quick and accurate and second they actually cut the fibers while marking, and that helps prevent tear outs. I use a wheeled gauge from veritas, only like $50. I use it for many things, very handy tool.
Thank you Jamie. Glad you are enjoying the videos. You'll see in upcoming videos that I use the marking knife a lot more now. Starting today, I will have my marking gauge with me on the job. I bought one from a friend recently. Brilliant idea to use them for newel notches etc. Who says you can't teach an old dog... Cheers, Scott

Thank you Joseph. I appreciate this very much. Scott
Appreciate you showing the mistake. Lots to be leanred from fixing mistakes.
Thank you Sebastian. Follow me, lots more to come. HAHAHA. The reality is every carpenter makes them. Even the high-end furniture makers. If they don't show any mistakes, it doesn't mean they don't make them. Cheers, Scott
It’s true. Great to see humility.
@@timothysmith3348 Thank you Timothy!
whats the name of the product you use to have the balusters on the floor?
Justino, On the balcony rail on this job I installed an oak nosing that I made on the jobsite and placed a "shoe" on top of it to receive the fillets. The shoe I'm using is grooved and takes a half-inch fillet. I buy those at the local supplier. I hope this is the question you were asking. Cheers, Scott
Haha its not how good you are its how well you can hide your mistakes
So true! We all make them. Thank you for commenting! Scott
