    • @tdcaudio
      @tdcaudio 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @One I believe what you are talking about is happening not from cannabis but from the bastardization of THC. When you isolate THC and remove all of the CBD and other synergistic compounds you don't have cannabis anymore. CHS doesn't happen from cannabis it happens from taking unnaturally isolated THC and using insanely effective ingestions techniques. Put the CBD back in weed and the problem is gone. I believe the science will show that man genetically modifying the cannabis is the sole reason CHS is happening now and NEVER happened during previous era's in cannabis history.

    I took ibogaine in Mexico for dementia after mold exposure and it worked. It restored my memory. The aftercare was far-lacking. An hour after smoking buffo one of the patients went over a cliff. We don’t know if he jumped or fell but it was very traumatic. It was a valuable experience but this was one of those places you speak of: kambo, iboga, ibogaine if you need it, then buffo. Be very careful and travel with a trusted friend.

      @@pricklycatsss because I was trapped in the mold and it was killing me so many other ways. It's actually the toxic heavy metals IN the mold that cause it. It crosses the blood-brain barrier. It feeds viruses as well. All of us have viruses residing in our bodies and they are just waiting for something to consume so they can come out and start presenting symptoms. I learned all of this from Medical Medium after I went to many doctors and had no help. Get Medical Medium books and start following him and listening to his podcasts. The following comment still should not detract from the point being made that anything that is consumed ad nauseum can be harmful.
    I knew someone who was diagnosed with Cannabis hyperemesis at Mayo Clinic... though he tried to tell the doctors he did not seem to get these symptoms from his homegrown organic stuff, but only when he used stuff from elsewhere, they would not listen. So I'm convinced there has to be more studies done on this disease.

    Hey Dr Plotnik,
    In regards to your discussion about "the therapeutic effects" I must say, you have a lack of understanding. The therapeutic effects often experienced is not that the experience your body/mind has while on the substance is blissfully joyful or some other specifically positive experience. The therapy is often that the feeling of being under water, in the dark, for 9 hours, is a very intense experience which brings the individual to a place of reconciliation with that level of intensity in their life. Meaning to say, most often the therapeutic effects of psychedelic substance is either in the experience, or, the way the individual relates to the experience. The mistake most often made is two-found. First mistake, the substance ITSELF will not provide the cure. The key word here is relationship. Second mistake, an experience which seems dark and unpleasant is not to be seen as non therapeutic. In fact, the opposite approach is perhaps way more useful.
    Thanks for the talk guys.

    As a teenager I was told that LSD deteriorates into a strychnine like substance when stored improperly hence all the urban myths about LSD containing strychnine as well as old acid giving rise to muscle cramps and other unpleasant side effects similar to strychnine poisoning. Anybody know if there is any truth to this. I have definitely experienced this some blotter that was just laying around neglected, folded up and stuffed into the backside of a large framed painting. I think it even had a coffee stain and some scuff marks on it lol. Fantastic acid with the unpleasant effect of feeling like i was being stung by bees in my calf muscles if I stayed immobile for a length of time then got up to walk about. It was almost crippling. Also noticed muscle cramping on the back of my skull from excessive smiling lol.

    • @christopherfisher128
      @christopherfisher128 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      LSD containing strychnine wasn't a myth. It wasn't due to any actual process with the chemical but the trend of unscrupulous dealers cutting the batches to increase their profits. Also keep in mind that MK Ultra was still a very active program in the west and may have had something to do with all of the propaganda & or the "Bad Acid" trips for the rising "War" on drugs.

    • @pheresy1367
      @pheresy1367 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is NO truth to the rumor that LSD degrades into strychnine. When it degrades, it simply loses potency. If it DID turn into strychnine, the volume of the drug is SO tiny it would be imperceptible.
      There are certainly anecdotal reports of strychnine being SOLD as acid. It's a ghetto trick I saw at rock concerts back in the early 70s.
      A friend of mine declined a would-be purchase at the first site of some sketchy "brown-looking cubes", then, later on, saw a whole crate of said cubes being sold as rat poison at the hardware store.
      Beyond the numerous adulterated product that has been sold as LSD, nowadays there is a plethora of research chemicals also being sold as "good ol' acid".
      I have also witnessed absolutely pure acid (which had been sent to a lab for purity test) producing experiences having a RANGE of negative effects.
      There is a huge variety of different subjective experiences this "king of psychedelics" produces. It can vary greatly from person to person and from trip to trip.
      NOTHING surprises me.
