A guy used that old tunnel for a garage to work on cars at one point in time after they built the new bridge we have now, it was before my time but I remember older relatives talking about it any time Brooklyn ever got brought up
super cool vid - thank you. Amazing that original bridge lasted into the 50's, that food truck driver should have gotten the whole 50k just from the local DOT not replacing it years before...
My Grandfather Wm J Lutes, owner of Odd Jobs construction Co, built the road that went to the tunnel. Old Harrodsburg Rd. We have a very old picture of it. Tnx, Scott Collins
Been there many times. Live up in Lexington the entrance is pretty grown over with honey suckle as of a month ago (summer 2021) didn’t realize the bridge collapsed. We have a governor now that would try to pull that kind of garbage also.
It's Jessamine, not Jessameen. It is pronounced with a short i like min. BTW, the tunnel is still there as it will most likely be for another hundred years.
My sympathy goes to the truck driver but the judge is right, awards nowadays are totally over the top and the people that actually pay for it are you and me, just like a multi millionaire athletes who do you think pays for that? That’s right you and me
Scots-Irish, English, Germans were predominate folks that explored and settled KY. "Ulster Scots" settlements all over. Glasgow, Edmonton, Bowling Green, Barren River, Campbellsville. All named by Scots settlers. Where do ya think Bluegrass comes from? It came directly from settlers bringing their folk and traditional music and instruments with them from England, Scotland, Ireland, etc. Go read some history before insulting and berating people over something you are ignorant about.

The 10k he got equals to about $118k today. So he still yet was paid very well.
I took my daughter there and we went through it she was around 8 then now she is 26 where has the time gone I think we will go back when it gets cold

Been many times exploring I love that area
Another great trip.
Well done! Enjoyed the music with the video tour.
Keep it up!
My family owned several acres about a 1/4 mile West of the tunnel until we sold out back in 1997. Got tired of the flooding from the Kentucky River.
HOWS THE CATFISHING IN THAT RIVER?
I'll have to visit this one someday!
I lived in Wilmore for 8 years and don't think I ever knew about this tunnel. Sad to learn that. Thanks for the tour.
It is still there.
I did too. Sounds like it is in Harrodsburg not Wilmore.
I'm going to have to go see this one. That's awesome.
Great job Satolli.🇺🇸🇺🇸🚇

Been there many times. Back when it was all open and if you got hurt, people just considered you stupid.
Very nice music!

Thats Jess-min County, bucko.
A girl I used to talk to said it like he does. She wasn't a native. I should've left her then before I got hurt lol

Megalithic definitely cut with Laser from a UFO
I would have fined him $10000 for breaking the bridge.
