Breakfast Time? | The Nest Egg | [Chapter 2] 🥚

Second part to the Nest Egg project!🙌 A lot of this video is mostly me just going through my internal thought process when it comes to concept art. I’m really enjoying how this project is progressing! I was originally going to develop Half Light Garden more (which I am doing in the background) but I recently had a few commissions come in for this year so wanted to focus on that first, and develop a smaller personal project alongside so I don’t overwhelm myself too much👍
Also some of this thought process/ ideas are ones I did have already before the first video (such as the design for my boss character) but I wanted to share them for this current one!🙌

I think the locks and keys could be eggshells cracked in half, with unique patterns in the crack. If there are minibosses you could assign each one to a different room/area and have them hold one of the halves or maybe make a puzzle or treasure hunt to find an eggshell half

Were one of the coins a Crow Time reference? They're all so cute! Also, how about instead of an Octopus you do the African Jacana Bird? Keeps the bird theme and though it isn't real multiple limbs, you can obviously do whatever you want with the visual.
