Nafil AM - I definitely didn’t. I’m sorry I know he had some great games for us & was a key part of our CL win that season but overall he didn’t live up to his potential. I think he was happy enough to collect a big paycheque & never really wanted to fight to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
Again, I don’t want to knock the guy but that’s just the way I saw it.
While I agree “The Bison” was probably underrated on the world stage, I think Chelsea most underrated midfielder in the modern era was none other than ..... “The Kenyan” Ramires!
Was an absolute beast of a player, could run all day & scored some great goals. Important goals too, remember that chip in the Nou Camp to bring us back into the game after being 2-0 down & Terry getting sent off in the 1st half? I was really pissed when they sold him & a bit sad to see him go to China for the best years of his career. A team like Real were stupid not to snatch him up.

Yeah apart from Terry’s pen miss in the CL final, that was probably the most sickened I’ve been after a Chelsea match. It wasn’t even Iniesta’s winner in the last few mins, that horrible bastard of a ref “Overbo”? or whatever his scummy name was absolutely robbed us of at least 2 clear cut pens, one of which was after Iniesta’s goal. 🤮🤮🤮
We got some revenge against them in 2012 but even then they tried to rob us in the Nou Camp by sending Terry off.
