The song CRAZY (and the whole EP actually) talks about loving something so much it drives you CRAZY and it urges you to go crazy for what you love without being held back by societal norms or negativity. It’s interesting how you didn’t see any meaning in the MV or the lyrics bc I saw a ton of symbolism and substance 😂 In the MV * The fish swimming out of Yunjin’s head -> this could resemble her wanting to get out of her own head and explore what the world has to offer out of confined spaces. It also ties into the lyrics “broke free from the prison in my mind”. Later in the MV, it also shows a larger fish in the sea, linking back to the desire of wanting bigger and better things. * Galileo statue -> this is a reference to Galileo Galilei, an astronomer who was deemed crazy for saying that the Sun was the center of the universe, not the Earth. He turned out to be right after all. The girls using this in the MV, to me, can be interpreted as “they might look crazy but they are firm in what they believe in and determined to do what they love” This is also why Kazuha says “all the girls are galling galling” instead of “girling, girling”. It’s a wordplay on Galileo’s name. * The bar of soap -> LE SSERAFIM has received an intense amount of hate in 2024 (unnecessarily imo) and the soap could resemble the haters wanting to catch them slipping and focus on their stumbles. Eunchae, however, turns her slip into a d€@th drop, making it look flawless. This is a message saying “idc what you throw on our path, we’ll turn it into somethign positive and beautiful ” * The jellyfish floating above the bars of soap -> jellyfish could be wordplay to jelly aka jealous haters who throw bars of soap on LSF’s path to catch them slipping. * the massive g*n Sakura was holding -> this could link to the massive amount of unnecessary hate the girls were receiving. The hate was so blown out of proportion like the unnecessarily big rifle. * In the lyrics, Chaewon says “even though we know we’ll go blind, me and my girls will still try to give the sun a kiss” -> she is saying that LE SSERAFIM will keep trying to do better and reach new heights even if it is a little dangerous.
