You don't need to solder there's absolutely no reason to solder you can disconnect a couple things and get the mouse to connect to the phone I'm done it without more than a couple cables that plug into each other maybe three cables if you can't find the right ones but don't solder anything don't ruin anything you don't need to this guy's lying

I can confirm that this works. However you should probably use a copper wire to connect the contacts instead of soldiering the tip and making it not fit in the case

Why you directly jump the data + to grnd. Should you put atleast 5oms resistor. And is there a difference jump conncet directly to the female usb conector rather than the other end .
That is what I thought too. Another video shows a resistor inline can't remember the ohms.
