Can we all just take time to realise, that people actually get excited to talk to gypsy and really get deep and invested, really goes to show how much of a genuine bloke he is.
I watched deegan through his crusty days when my kids grew up , now I'm watching his new channel with my grandsons, it just blows my mind seeing what a good dad he turned out to be .
Generation Z can “cancel” anything they want but the late 90’s - early 00’s was the best time to be alive and for me watching these guys on Extreme channel was a huge part of that.
That first All Crusted Out show was insane to be there. The segment on the the video didn't even scrape the surface of what really happened there, it was such a gnarly night. There was only a handful of security guards and they gave up pretty quickly. The cops only showed up after the show. It took 2 hours to get out of the carpark, and there was brawls and parties going on all over the carpark while everyone was waiting to get out
I remember watching the first one at my buddies. He had a PW50 and KX60. He and those VHS tapes (Terra Firma, Crusty, later TGO, then all the Godfrey films) got me into bikes 😂
90’s were the best. I was 18 in 1998 and all I wore was flat bill hats, Dickey shorts with chain wallets and bleach blonde spiky hair with black socks and tennis ball vans shoes. Now I wear a suit and I’m a lawyer haha. I’m such a sell out 😂. Best decade ever.
what a legend.. You can tell how real it is through how passionate and thrilled he sounds.you can tell he reminiscing 💯take a bow sir. He has lived. He is worthy of VALHALLA
The best stories from that era are the ones I can't tell. Imagine me rolling with the boys back in the day and I was sober the whole time--that is why my memory is so crisp now.
Definitely awesome the conversations Jase has with all his guests. You don’t see that too often with other podcasts. Such great content my friend. Hope you guys are doing well and wish you the best. 👍🏻🏁🖤
Bro my mum and dad were at that first show n a few years later I was born n they named me Deegan, got a home video of my parents chatting to Deegan about how they were gonna name me Deegan, I’ll never forget his reaction “Right on”
After their First Brisbane show at Boondal in 2001 or 02 i left a few minutes earlier to go to car park & i had a 2000 model Black Extra cab Hilux 4x4 & i Just linelocked it For like 5 minutes & smoked the entire carpark out!! Everybody was coming down the main entrance stairs just going off!!! it had a massive Fox sticker on the rear window & everywhere i would go riding after that people would pull & say Hey your that dood frome Crustys!!!! Goodtimes ;-))
Was at the infamous Perth show, tripping on LSD 17yrs old 😄😄..seem to remember Metz or Deegan getting tackled and having their helmet stolen? Greeeeat times.
I remember the motorcycle store I worked at gave the crusty guys bikes to use , they came back very second hand, most had been spray painted.... what were we thinking 😂😂
Those times won’t happen again! It was a time in history I was just talking about it with some friends telling my son you would have had so much fun in the 80-90s because he loves the music etc! But I told him the coolest thing was we could get away with a shot ton of fun stuf gnarly stuff!!!
Perth born n bred, Rocking my mullet and keeping it real🤙. If I interviewed the General (Billy Bullseye) I'd be asking about the skitz he use to film hunting the turkey's etc and also talk about him defeating Dave Mirra in the boxing ring. Ask the important stuff
I really hope it come around again..I’m from Perth Western Australia and those shows were fuckng sick!.. like that would be all I would look forward to as a 13 year old and forward.. deegan needs to talk with link and let it mulisha be mulisha again because it will take off again
First Sydney show at the dome , we tore the seat backs off and tossed them into the arena 😂 I was hanging over the railing flipping off twitch held at the annulled by two mates 😂 thanks @briandeegan for the times
Bonnie water ski park... wow! I was like 18. The show and riot was outta control. There was someone’s VW on fire in the carpark, the gearbox is magnesium so it burns like a bright blue flame you can’t even look at. It was brighter than the lighting plants they had setup ha ha. Good times
I still remember waiting for 1st show at Baldivis western australia. Went and it was sic. At end who was on downramp in middle of grounds on microphone holding their helmet up saying let's storm or riot this place. I was extremely fast sprinter back then and jumped fence and ran out and got first hand on the helmet, holding by nose. Thought I had it and was so stoked, second later it was kaos as somany people went for it to. Spewing lost it as I was riding 93 cr250 at time. Riot followed, was awesome fun. We can't do anything 8n australia these days without being busted and fined. Avagud1 mate
They fukd shit up in all states. Remember a after party in Melbourne. Deegan and few of the boys got in a mad punch up. Was the rock star life. Even when they left and loaded into the vans, some guys was just picking and asking chick's to go back to their hotel
Trigger will be missed. He was one of the original free style dudes. I remember going to the Rhino Room witn him and a few boys from San Pedro,Lomita and O/C in Huntington Beach during the Crusty 2 premier and witnessed my boy Trigg punch that dude the director in the mouth and it popped off. Tore them dudes up. R.I.P. Trigg. He was a real one.
“Ain’t never going to be a Metal Mulisha again” Actually there damn well could be via Colby Raha, Jacko Strong, Jason Borosky, Brandon Howard…all modern MM dudes who are badass and rep the brand as we speak. They all know Deegan and Link and if those two said “hey let’s make a new MM competition/demo team with those guys” it would be Mulisha reincarnated.
I was at this show he was talking about. In my time I was lucky enough to see 3 deegan inspired riots. 2 crusty shows and one MM show. Bindoon dirt drags was fucking wild. I’ve never seen someone so fucked up as Luke Urek was that night. Simpler times, that’s for sure
Can we all just take time to realise, that people actually get excited to talk to gypsy and really get deep and invested, really goes to show how much of a genuine bloke he is.
That’s a cool comment man thanks a lot ❤️
Love it. Gypsy is a lit channel.
I watched deegan through his crusty days when my kids grew up , now I'm watching his new channel with my grandsons, it just blows my mind seeing what a good dad he turned out to be .
Same same brody
Same! I really hope his kids and family the best!
Right? Seems to have it figured pretty dam good.
its so cool to see how happy Brian got talking about this, you can tell how appreciative he is for the life he's lived
Crusty demons of dirt was my childhood. Miss those times.
Generation Z can “cancel” anything they want but the late 90’s - early 00’s was the best time to be alive and for me watching these guys on Extreme channel was a huge part of that.
That's Millennials cancelling stuff, not Gen Z. And that's closer to your gen's doing.
Best interview ever!

Growing up watching crusty movies on repeat. So badass
I remember watching the first one at my buddies. He had a PW50 and KX60. He and those VHS tapes (Terra Firma, Crusty, later TGO, then all the Godfrey films) got me into bikes 😂
Was in Perth for all of these shows and was with them when they did Bindoon such a wild time.
Years later they wouldn't let travis pastrana go into the crowd because they where scared of a roit.
Fucking cool man. Great memories
I was there too, was one wild night 😂😂😂
Dude ... this one the anti pastrana and the pastrana episodes have been absolute gold to watch man !!! Flashback to childhood dude !!!

Best channel for motocross fans. Great work
I really like Brian's attitude now, and he's such a talented man
Hands down one of the best interviews ever done! Temecula is my home and Brian's-Metal Mulishas story needs to be made into a movie!
Dude I thought that while we were doing it
You know hw has that planned for sure he thinks of everything.

I’m so happy to hear Brian speak
Best one yet jase keep it going

I listened to this whole episode on Spotify I couldn't get any visuals to display.. only audio.. can you ditch Spotify and just do youtube?
I love this guy !
If the Mulisha started up today, I'm pretty sure they'd cancel everything from Heelys to dirt bikes
"They" would get told to f-off quick smart. You can't cancel dirt bikes.
So raw back then
Anybody know the stuff they can't talk about?
by Three Days Grace
Mate I’m still all black everyday 90s were the absolute best times

I think everything was more fun in the 90's ... Mostly all the racing two wheel or four wheel was better in the 90's
Perth represent 😂
There is no come back for all black Brian.... It never left
I was at that show!
Metal Mulisha is almost as big as the Portola All-Stars. Haha!
