In 1969 I saw my first concert at 14 years old. It was Terrry Reid. Ike and Tina Turner, BB King and the Rolling Stones. Hearing BB King play changed me forever and I immediately knew that I must learn to play the guitar. 54 years later and many gigs I am still playing everyday and so grateful for these great artists and the music they share with us.
BB forever changed my life as well. Got to meet him many time and event went on the road with his former bass player Russell Jackson. Oh and seen him in concert over 70 times. Great memories.
Hes a gospel guitar, sweet while rocking, swinging while loving so lets learn from those wise phrases , It's up to us that bluesy language doesn't fade
Love that James Brown type showmanship when his horn section has to hold him up! And that Hammond B-3 is like Black gospel church. B.B. in voice and guitar playing simply can't be beat.
Because it’s Germany and outside of servicemen stationed in the country at the time, there’s not a tremendous amount of black people living in Germany.
The PASSION! The FURY of that tone! The sweetness of it all. He will always be the King.

Sally forth and carry on, my brother.
Never knew BBs voice was so poweful and cool in his younger years.
Happy Heavenly Birthday, BB King!! 🎉🎉🎸🎸🕊🕊
Totally unreal! BB with only B3 and drums! What an amazing sound!
And a horn section
What a heartbreaking story told by Lucille and BB.

So great and blue.
Wonderful AF baby.

WONDERFUL!
BRILLIANT
Fantastic. Thanks for the upload.
Good lord that crowd has terrible rhythm. The off beat clapping is killing me
krauts
The off time clapping is the sound the pathetic sound of a white person that is unaware and out of touch.
It's a crowd full of young Navin Johnsons.
Otherwise, great video!

Not one blk in the audience
