Typing this as I'm listening. Bouncier version than Wilbert's and just as wonderfully done. Skip beat on the drum is more prominent in this one. Muddy uses stop choruses where Wilbert doesn't. More soloing also. Definite distinction between rock 'n roll and blues versions.

What I like about Muddy Waters, is that he always lets the other musicians shine.
Because he is not the best musician!
@@paulverhoeven9154 That's why he teamed-up with Johnny Winter.
All His career,He had top notch musicans, from drums,harp,guitar....H.Wolf also....they even exchaneged them....for some reasons.....

Jerry Portnoy’s harp playing is superb on this! ❤
I don't understand that people who put thumb down... To see this version and this band is wonderful for my hears and my soul!!

He always had superb harmonica players on his Studio and Live songs.

Willie Big Eyes Smith on drums, what a tempo this Muddy band could lay down
Don’t forget Calvin Jones on bass. He is keeping it grooving
Plus Luther Johnson is rhythm guitar. Margilion is solid as well
What a really great band! Muddy's voice sounds fantastic. I recognize that hearp player from Eric Clapton's band from his nothing but the blues tour.

Most excellent video. Really nice version of this classic. The Mud looked real good here. Great backing band.
de Tartagal (Argentina) no me canso de escucharlo.
I'm getting on in years and hopefully I end up in that part of hell that's featuring Muddy Waters, pray for me people.
Well the Blues is the Devil’s music, so it’s very likely that the greatest blues guitarist gets to be a headliner.

Muddy Waters taught himself to play guitar! It was in his DNA. And one of the best!
Most guitarists teach themselves to play guitar, it's not rare. It's how the instrument is traditionally learned.
