All it takes is the want(more of a need) to play every day because you can't live without it. I've been playing for 4 years I'm a freshman this year and trying out for MCDC my sophomore year. My drum captain from last year(played for MCDC this year and last) said 7 snare spots will be open and I'll make it. It's because I love to play daily and make it part of my daily routine to play an hour. Because I love it
I'm not gonna lie, the guy who can't seem to stop screaming makes me angry.I get the hype, but he's just annoying. 19:49 He just does that through the whole video. I'm sure the drummers are just used to it after all the comps, but his yelling is just ridiculous and excessive. Props to Chino though, those guys are monster players.
I understand that they play very clean together but the crowd at DCI/WGI lots need to shut their mouths with all of their stupid, ignorant, immature remarks.
