The War of the Worlds is a science fiction novel by English author H. G. Wells. It was written between 1895 and 1897,[2] and serialised in Pearson's Magazine in the UK and Cosmopolitan magazine in the US in 1897. The full novel was first published in hardcover in 1898 by William Heinemann. The War of the Worlds is one of the earliest stories to detail a conflict between humankind and an extraterrestrial race.[3] The novel is the first-person narrative of an unnamed protagonist in Surrey and his younger brother who escapes to Tillingham in Essex as London and southern England is invaded by Martians. It is one of the most commented-on works in the science fiction canon.[4] The original story was on the radio in 1938 narrated by Orsin Welles. Since 2024 seven movies have been made including the one with the creepy tripods starring Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. The sounds were truly terrifying and you’ve made them even spookier! Great Job. ❤K
The Tom Cruise movie on this was phenomenal, its only drawback was Tom Cruise.
Horn 1 and 2 sounds like they would be used by higher class tripods
I agree. The sounds are both haunting and complex so they sound sophisticated compared to the originals from the movies.
These are absolutely haunting, especially the last one.
Sound engineering is on point cuz
The black smoke sounds like a fnaf 3 jumpscare
Good stuff! Really love these man.
I can hear the Paul R. Tregurtha in these horns
The first horn's base is the James R. Barker horn and the rest of it is custom. All other sounds are made from scratch.
thanks bro
Distant horn 2 sounded like a distance ULLA,just like in the novel.
Freaky. Aaah!😱
dont really know what war of the worlds is but i think they look like hl2 strider
Half life 2 strider but you turn it into a control-able tripod
@@user-xb9pc7hy1v that sounds pretty cool
Would you mind me using this for a war of the worlds game?
Sure! Just if you do, make sure to give credit.
