I'll be honest I was ready to roll my eyes with the trauma question, because it seems in the US we're really hung up on viewing every negative experience from the perspective of trauma (or have to discover what our hidden traumas are) - and tend to attach our identity really strongly to those experiences. But the response by Guo Gu was really refreshing, wise and truly empowering. Damn I loved it. Thank you to both the person asking the question and Guo Gu.
