I'm glad you finally got around to doing this. I converted one of your switchback frames 2 years ago and when I left a review on your web site I left information on how I did it. Since then I had torn it apart for one of my spec7 builds and then regretted it and rebuilt it again cause I really missed the oh so nice, smooth flying feeling. You mentioned in this video you were going to weigh it but then looks like you forgot. I would love to know its dry weight. My build gets 20min flight time flying how you were using a 1p 6s 18650 3000mah vtc6 pack, and I have a second to run it 2p but never timed it. I strap both packs to the bottom and usually run a session 4 on top but with out it could put a third pack to run 3p. I'm sure it would carry it. I do wish you had put out 7in arms for the switchback pro frame instead of the light switch. Mine uses modified darwin129 arms with out additional support and the tune is great. I like that you offer an upgrade kit but from this vid it looks like it doesn't come with the 3d printed parts. I think that is bad form. I went years without a 3d printer until recently. The bambu labs printers finally allow me to print without having a whole other hobby keeping my printer working. But not everyone who flies drones want to take on a second hobby just to have access to good 3d prints. I think any manufacturer who has 3d prints on a frame should offer those as a purchasable component and an upgrade kit should include that. Just sayin'. Anyway love what you guys do and this video was great to. If I hadn't already built my own version of this I would buy one, but I'm so glad you're making a way for others to experience this specific form factor. I know those who try it will be blown away. If you get a chance can you pin the weight as a top comment? or just let me know?
Very cool and thank you for satisfying my curiosity. I think my first 7in switchback was around 400, but my rebuild comes in at 476 with the gopro mount but no gopro. My current version runs Avatar and the Fpv Cycle 30mm motors that aren't sold any more. Those motors can push 9in bi-blades (I know) so they are oversized and add some weight.@@headsupfpv
I can't wait for a props out of view version with a gopro mount! Going to have some many uses in the chase quad market especially with high speed chase! also do the arms fit a 7in prop when mounted in the flipswitch?
Five33 promos. I think if you just plug your product for long enough, a lot of entry-level pilots are going to catch on to you as well. So you’re potentially going to get a lot of market share from new pilots and stuff like that. For me, around a year ago, the best quads that I knew of came from rotor riot videos. Lol. I had no idea what a good quad even was or…What the difference between one of your quads or an Iflight Nazgul was lol. The Nazgul is a toy compared to one of your quads! You have to keep getting your face out there and your brand out there. I think no matter what, you’re a person that will be around 10 years from now in this business and well off.
I honestly think that long range racing would be an interesting market to try and capitalize on. I don’t know there anybody else is doing that? Because maybe a lot of other people haven’t thought about that. This is a nice idea. Time to start running some more promotions.
Your 7" arm kit got me confused. It says 16mm motor mount. Wont fit any 2808 motor. Otherwise Im sure you get 15 min out of that 3300mah 6s lipo on such a light quad. Try the gemfan 7050 if you like it silent
Come to New Zealand we have a place called 90mile beach and its 90 miles long and just fly along the beach there’s no body there and you dont need a gps as you dont get lost flying along the shore line and bring a 15ah dark lithium li-ion with you
The point is dramatic yes, but still irresponsible. People being ignorant of the rules with camera drones is why the regulations exist now. A 7” quad flying at 90mph and losing video feed a few miles away, over who knows who… sounds extremely dangerous no? I dont really care if experienced pilots want to fly long range against the rules, but do it quietly. They most likely wont be flying over populated areas and have the experience to know what to do… But selling just anyone a bnf, 250g+ drone and telling then to go have a blast flying this rocket through the air… Is just asking for more regulations because some kid or a Karen is going to take a drone to the face miles away. I used the fully automatic weapon argument because its stupid and dramatic… just like giving someone a 90mph drone…
What law is he breaking? The biggest threat to this hobby is not coming from flying a few miles up a mountain it's from camera drones being in places they shouldn't but, even that isn't the reason for regulations that's just a good excuse, the reason for regulation is lobbying from groups like Amazon and the commercial drone alliance.
LOS. Its illegal to fly beyond your line of sight without a spotter to have visuals on the drone at all times. Promoting long range flight is kind of irresponsible. Its like handing a fully automatic rifle to a toddler without even explaining the rules and looking the other way.
@@SofiaisSunshineI'm sorry. Your delusional if you think flying non-LOS is the same as handing a toddler a fully automatic weapon. Please reevaluate, you got some issues.

@@thirtythreeeyes8624I just saw a report out of Florida where a helicopter collided with a camera drone… its more than lobbyist. People love to buy stuff, ignore the rules and go out and mess things up for everybody. Im not sure yet on the case out of Florida, waiting on the full report.
Headsup introduces his vision of the butter kwad. Love it
Your "cruising" is what my freestyle looks like 😅
lol in a small area is hard not to have lots of freestyle, but if your flying looks like this, I like your style😁😆
Nice
Crusing ? I needed that fir checks and balances anytime i think im fast .😢😂awesome flying going on in knox vegas
It cuts like a hot knife through butter. Love the sound!

Thanks for the kind words! This build came out to 470 with props ! No battery of course, but flys incredible. Your build sounds dope!

It could use GPS return to home if you're really going to send it. Looks like that canopy can fit an m8 board.
Yes no problem!
That thing looks amazing! :O awesome stuff man!!
Thank ya!
Ok. Fine. Ill buy one. Jeez. @@headsupfpv
Bro, can you do a max speed test with this drone? 👍👍
Nice !!
The battery is way heavier than the drone!🤣

We will make 7” flip switch arms as well! These arms will only work with the lightswitch v2 currently, but the GoPro pod is almost done as well!

Huge typo! 19x19 mounting! Fixing now

I need one ❤ I'm in motown lol
Any chance to get this with a GPS that has a compass to use with Inav for the long range flights?
We can make that happen!
The motors pattern is only 19x19 or even 16x16?
19x19 only I believe!
But where is the tune for this one ??😅
Sorry! Finalizing this soon and will have it posted, we have worked on the tune since the video!
