I purchased that same excact console during their labor sale. So far so good. By the way they stopped putting their stickers on merchandise and are now giving customers a 1 year warranty on products
I know about the one year warranty and it’s a great way of doing business with the older consoles. That warrant alone if you wanted to, you can calculate that into the price you’re paying for that’s why I looked at it
DK Oldies will always be overpriced and sketchy. If in the beginning when all the controversy started a few years back they would have just taken responsibility then okay sure. They have always acted like they have improved but it’s a lie. They take advantage of people who know little to nothing about the retro game market. For the prices they set, everything should be absolutely pristine, even then, I would still say their prices are ridiculous.
I agree with you 100% I will say like I said in the video I will not buy another video game console from them. There are times that they are cheaper for video games than Lukiey games. I think as long as you’re happy with the places you’re buying from. That’s all that matters
DK Oldies must just have issues with console quality as they have never been anything but reliable for games. I bought over the last 5 years maybe 15-20 CIB N64 games. They took the time to send me photos as they know I'm a collector and shipped them with care and they all showed up as described. Was able to get some super clean games that were clearly well taken care of by the original owner from them. Shipping was always fast too. That said, I have never purchased a console from them. Anyone expecting a 20+ year old console to be cosmetically perfect is naive.
You are right the 2 times I have got games from them it was perfect but when it comes to the video game console i was happy with the snes jr it self it was clean inside only downside for me was the broken post inside but at less it was inside not on the out side. I will buy games from them still just not console like you said 20+ old video game consoles will never be perfect on the out side and when you get a glossy Xbox or ps they will never be perfect on the shell In conclusion Dk oldies is a good company. And I will keep buying from them in the future unless it comes to sega cd because they don’t sell those games
DK oldies should learn how to refurbish it's like a toddler is refurbishing them Whoever is refurbishing is not doing they're job right it's like buying a for parts console on eBay

TH-cam it and do it yourself or find a local electronics or phone repair store, they can probably fix it if you don’t feel confident. There are tons of videos on TH-cam about disassembling, repairing and modifying Nintendo DS and all other Nintendo consoles.
