My daschund gets sores between his toes suddenly the last two months. I took him to the vet and he got antibiotics and painkillers. It healed perfectly but now it starts again. Can it be because his toes are white and he is more prone to allergies? The rest of his body is brown so there is no problem. Our other daschund is a grey and black dapple but he doesn't get it. They have been eating Karoo pallets now for 6 months so it can't be the food.

Hi Nelia. I recommend following up with your veterinarian to determine the cause of the sores and to discuss possible treatment options. It is also important to keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection and to monitor your dog's overall health. It may be helpful to keep a record of any potential triggers or changes in your dog's environment that may be contributing to the sores.
