Knowing that this will forever outlive Geoff in some way or form comforts me in a way. Though he may be gone, he still lives on as his work in a way. Is that not immortality?
I remember recording these tunes off my TV back in early 1992 using a portable tape recorder against the speaker of the television - that's how impressed I was by these tunes and I'm still listening to them 28 years later. They haven't aged.
I’m really loving C64 music lately. I’ve never played a C64 game before, just listening to OSTs. But it goes without saying that anything the Follins composed is perfect. Rest in peace Geoff
I only discovered Geoff's brilliance via HVSC , as I'd moved away from the beloved c64 by the time he was doing his thing. It was quite a revelation at the time for me, as it's a rare thing to have brothers make music for games, who are equally as talented. The Sly Spy scores are really good.
This OST blew me away as an 8 year old kid and I seem to remember pausing the game and just leave the music playing. I wish Geoff had kept releasing music.
R.I.P. Geoff Follin.
Geoff is terribly underrated.

Wow, this sounds awesome for a C64 tune!😄👌
And another classic from the Night Moves pack! It came with my 8580 equipped C64C. It's nice to hear it it from a 6581.
Still prefer 8580 though! ^_^
That is an impressive amount of grooves crammed into one sid file. Very typical of Geoff's 'kitchen sink' C64 tunes, but they still sound great.
What do you mean by "kitchen sink"?
@@theblenderfiddler4434 he threw everything in it. His all. Anything he could think of.
Imo I think Stage 8 is probably the most underrated work of Geoff
I have to agree with you.
thought it was going to turn into the hawaii five O theme song after the first 2-3 seconds
This OST blew me away as an 8 year old kid and I seem to remember pausing the game and just leave the music playing. I wish Geoff had kept releasing music.
I think it's the driver that Stephen wrote that makes his and Tim's music so awesome
