- Hello my beautiful friends! For today's video, I will be showing you and telling you all about the incredible fully custom Blythe doll I found at the thrift store! I still cannot believe this happened! And to top it off, she was only 2.99!!! WOW!! I love her so much. I would love to know wat you guys think of her! This is the first ever Blythe doll in my collection, so please bare with me as I continue to learn more about these dolls. She will definitely not be the last! I apologize for not talking enough about all her pretty details. I was too excited! LOL.
I also forgot to mention she has a 2006 Blythe Hasbro copyright at the back of her head.

Randomly came up on my feed and I wanted to say Wow! I would love to find any Blythe doll. I did get lucky once and found a Steiff bear.
Even with the eye mechanism being stuck, you can probably fix that later. three dollars is still way cheap, that’s awesome

I've never been interested in dolls before I saw pictures of Blythe dolls recently. My mind was blown. So, I bought my first doll ever, along with some clothes. She's not an official Blythe doll, but super cute anyway. Now I get the appeal of dolls. You get to dress up them the way you want and they kind of develop a personality of their own. I also get to express my feminine side. My wife also thought that I had bought a haunted doll. I've been planning on getting another doll soon, but this time a real doll.

The eye mechanism is easily fixable 🎉 also you can change her scalp if you want to later on maybe for alpaca or mohair if you want to spend on her 😅

She looks like an authentic Takara custom. That makes her more special. If you want you can turn her eyes with your fingers. Turn them down. Wish I loved near you, then I could fiv her eyemech for you🥰

Great video and great story. You were obviously meant to find her and give her a great life with you. I love the names that you chose. She is perfect (despite her issues), from her face to her outfit - love that little jacket, it suits her so well. There are loads of videos online that you can check out to see how to repair the eye mechanism as well as how you can give her a hair spa to make her hair less dry but even if you don't choose any of those thing she is still a lovely doll. Congrats.

Congratulations to you and I can tell you absolutely deserve such a treasure because you obviously adore her so much. I feel the same as you, that she belonged to someone that has passed away and the property or home most likely had a clean out and had good will come pick up everything as donated. This happens so much. It's sad that once treasured belongings are basically just tossed away but obviously this little treasure found her way to someone that would love her again! Enjoy! What a bargain you had, in the UK where I'm from they don't sell dolls in our charity shops 😔 I've ordered two off aliexpress and they will be my first blythes too. Some things to look up on her 1. Have you fixed her eyes yet? It's probably a simple fix though it's scary removing the back plate for the first time. I'm so glad that your first Blythe is this cutie 💗💗💗

Another Blythe doll in your collection...and the price? OH MY GOSH!!! (Shark Tale reference) Those Blythe dolls are usually over $300 (and are out of my price range as such). While looking up Blythe dolls on Google, I could imagine a Blythe doll customized to look like Madeline (the French girl in the Ludwig Bemelmans books) which I loved reading growing up. I recall in the 2001 Moulin Rouge! film (one of my father's favorite films, as well as mine), there was a Can-Can dancer dressed sort of like Madeline. Come to think of it, perhaps I could possibly customize an American Girl doll to be Madeline (possibly like how Hatty Jones played her in the 1998 film). That's a crazy name you gave your Blythe doll, and I heard one of the names you mentioned was "Agnes", and I recall going to the now-closed American Girl Store at the Mall of America in Minneapolis over ten years ago and bought Ivy Ling (Julie Albright's best friend) and renamed her Agnes, which was after one of the girls in the Despicable Me film franchise that I love to this very day. I also heard "Edna", and now that I think about it, I could imagine a Blythe doll customized to look like Edna Mode from The Incredibles ("NO CAPES!"). Still, lovely doll you got! -Andrea
I still can’t believe this happened! I feel really lucky. Oh! AG dolls were my first love (besides Barbie). I sometimes do miss collecting AG, but I honestly lost my bond with them for some reason. Maybe one day i will look into collecting again. Hope you’re having a great day 💜
