Hiya myself id drop those those "windows" down to the floor with a Stihl saw. Put a weed membrane in Run some outdoor cabling under your membrane to where you'd like some PowerPoints. Barrow in and put 2-inchs of washed sand Barrow in some round gravel 1cm stuff. From zhe area above Rake it level Youl have a really nice place as an all season sitting / grill place. With a elevated view out, close to the house for carrying stuff up n down the path from the house PS the wood - stack against the wall to your wood store (cover it with a tarp). We did it with a pavilion we built (cheap n effective)
Good skills. Just be aware if you live out in the country Adders love hibernating in wood stores. Bit of bone dry softwood is great with the hardwood too.
Hi thanks for popping in ya i havent got a door on it either yet i was thinking a barn door to keep the air flow, :] ya i always mix the wood up if i can
Nice looking stuff. That first lot would last me two weeks at most, sadly! I have just bought 12 cubic metres of newly felled wood and will season it for over a year covered in a log store, but outside. I would be nervous at drying that stuff indoors - it doesn't look kiln dried to me and they cannot legally sell it as dried if not. The comparatively cheap price suggests it isn't - kiln dried is £100 per cubic metre in Scotland.
hey david thanks for watching its not kiln dried its about 10-20% i burn the 10 first and dont have any issues with 15%, fair play you have a massive amount of stuff there can i come and get some haha
@@lookingfortrouble6970 hey that's interesting can i ask how many sacks a winter you'd go thro roughly? i mix up the wood with a bit of coal and have some fun with the other stuff i burn you know
