To add a Spatial Containement to an IfcSpace --> Select the Objects, Go to the Object Properties tab, and then the Ifc Spatial Container subpanel - there, you can change the container to be one of your spaces.
How can you define only ifcspaces in BlenderBIM? ifcspaces are different than other building elements. Can you show an example about ifcspaces in BlenderBIM? I spent about 6 months to learn the hierarchical structure of the IFC file (exporting from ArchiCAD) containing 2 million lines. Then I started to design web-based software with C# and Visual Studio.
hi @murataydin4366. I dont't quite understand your question. A building storey can be decomposed into spaces, using the IfcRelAggregates relationship. IfcBuildingStorey.IsDecomposedBy -- referencing (IfcBuildingStorey || IfcSpace) by IfcRelAggregates.RelatedObjects. A Building storey can also be decomposed into multiple building storeys, so one needs to make sure we are picking a IfcSpace entity when coding. There's a small video I've made on Spaces, maybe you can pick up a thing or two : th-cam.com/video/EUvh9NACxcQ/w-d-xo.html
This is what most of the BIM world currently uses Revit - Extracting information in Revit can be done through the Revit API or through Dynamo - try googling these terms, you'll find a lot of information and some forums that can help you
Excellent tutorial! Do you have the graph that appears at 2:42 as a download, for example as png or pdf?
So long ago I lost it now - Sorry.
@@sigmadimensions Unfortunate, thanks a lot anyway!
Excellent 👍
Brilliant. Thank you

Hi, excellent info thanks for sharing, question: how add the relations to IfcSpace clases if windows and doors are in the room in blenderbim?

Hmm I would like to learn more about what you are doing! Can I ask you which type of web apps are you busy with?
I have my own software.@@epluskk But you did not reply my question. How can you define only ifcspaces in BlenderBIM? i
Take a look my video about the hierarchical structure of the IFC @@epluskk

Can I use Revit as a platform instead of a blender? if yes, how can I extract information from the building in Revit?

Cool but why it`s so silent...
Got a professional microphone later on.. But this'll let you focus on every word haha :D
