Gobert is having his best career defensive season and actually have been doing more than just a tall shot blocker, improved himself, he is the league leader in defensive win shares, top 3 defensive rating and the highest paint to perimeter defense efficiency and carried the Wolves to the best defense in the league... ...Yet the casuals have been saying Anthony Davis deserves to be DPOY this season... Make it make sense. Lol

Also....Rudy has often had the highest FG% in the leauge but in Utah they refused to include him in the offense which is complete Insanity. The truth is is that Utah had a terrible game plan for Rudy and we figured him out and unlocked him. We love Rudy in MN ❤
Also, we WON the trade. Everything we traded them is nothing and now we are nothing without Rudy. We won hands down.

I’m a wolves fan, I’ve never really paid attention to Rudy’s game before, but man the guys is truly a defensive monster.
So glad this is happening....Rudy explaining basically that Utah had a terrible defense PLUS they insisted on "helping" him on the perimeter (of which he didn't need), which would leave somebody open but they would blame him 😂 This is beautiful justice. Rudy is WAAAAAY underappreciated.
Rudy was exposed in the playoffs and he's gonna get exposed again watch. Playoff basketball is a different brand of basketball.

Number one in defensive win shares and resting as well. Love him or not, he is the runaway defensive player of the year this season.
Bro you’re right he deserves his 4th DPOY. I’m from France I can’t deny his defensive skills in the REGULAR SEASON. Remember Utah same story Number one in the West and he took the L in the Bubble same against the Mavs & the Clippers during the PO. They use to play Small Ball against him, forcing him out of the Paint. Like JJ said : we’ve seen this trend before

Man, talk about subtly calling out most NBA viewers as casuals! The Timberwolves have led the West in the standings nearly the entire season. If most NBA fans don't know the Timberwolves lead the West after the Allstar break... that's quite the indictment of the NBA and sports media... If the host said something like "most NBA fans would of never predicted the Wolves to lead the West after the AS break" I could understand that. The Wolves and OKC have been major surprises this year in the West.
