Aldo is clearly one of the best to ever do it. He showed mercy with the takedown at the end because he didn't want to hurt this kid.
I don't understand how pantoja won round 3 after getting cut that bad. Steve won 2, 3, and 4 imo.
It was an elbow strike to the hairline that broke the skin. It’s a superficial cut imo. It didn’t overshadow the work pantoja did earlier in the round. IMO. But i acknowledge 2 & 3 were very close and could go either way

It's insane the scoring gymnastics the judges turn in
A cut is visible damage, but it doesn't necessarily imply a lot of significant damage. A grazing elbow might open a huge cut and yet barely cause impact compared to a right cross that lands flush on the chin and doesn't cause any visible damage, but is a more concussive blow for the brain.
I cannot believe how amazing Aldo looked. Colby turns 35 with two year layoff and he looks likes he’s in slow mo. Aldo on the other hand… lighting fast and beating up a 30 year old guy at 37yo…. Incredible. And Vinny Cegs’ is legit

I agree with Ric about the nonsense Jed is spewing Jed's supposed to be smart out of the bunch and yet he still thinks that calling Jones a chicken on his shows that I doubt Jon even heard about that would him fight Aspinall every show for the last few months its either Jones is chicken or that fart scale he came up with nothing really important just god awful takes and humor

What Aldo accomplished following devastating defeats at Featherweight is quite impressive. Had he attempted more strikes, maybe he could have beaten Merab. The fact that he has some arguing he won the fight goes to show how good he was up until he left.

To say Jack Shore’s cut on the leg is not a serious injury and life threatening is idiotic. There’s a reason why we don’t walk around with open wounds with our bones exposed. There’s this thing called bacterial infection and people will die from it! Fighters get staph infections all the time and it’s because they don’t realize that cuts can easily get infected which leads to a deadly infection. Jack Shore’s cut was not a superficial cut and regular people should recognize that in general, not just doctors!

All this video taught me is that Jed is not very good his job. People like this shouldn't be apart of ranking fighters. How can yhou complain about judges not knowing the sport and the arbitrarily rank fighter higher then they should be cause you like them. Do better.

It might just be me, but I don't really enjoy listening to the guys bicker over who is the GOAT for so long. If that becomes an ongoing thing, I'll skip the post-show. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
