Hello Shivam, This drivetrain was based on the Strafer chassis with some modifications (we have a video on ways you can adapt your Strafer chassis coming) so many of the drivetrain components carry over from that kit. As far as the rest of the kit, while we used some components that are not included in the FTC kit, the FTC kit is a great way to get a ton of parts for cheaper than you could buy them individually. We think a great starter to using goBILDA in FTC is both a Strafer and an FTC kit. And we think you could build a pretty sweet (and comparable) robot with those parts.
@@goBILDA would you think that that kit would allow us to use full fledged robots assuming we don’t buy anything else ? I also wanted a kit that is more complexed and harder to build
The FTC kit is not intended to create a full-fledged FTC robot. We hope it gives teams the ability to quickly iterate and find what they may need to purchase for their FTC season. The big thing it would be lacking is motors, as it includes 4 Yellow Jacket gear motors.
Can we pick up more than one freight at a time? Most of the videos of RI30 etc show teams picking up one at a time. But there are no such limitations of how many freights you pick up given in the game manual.
I've watched this video 10 times. Great build and it is a good starting point for other teams to work with.
GObilda is GOated
GObilda or GO home
I like the transfer and lift mechanism! Great minds think alike! (I'm from ri30h)
Right on! We saw that video right before day 3 and thought it was funny how similar we ended up!
For the intake what are you using to spin that rubber wheel is like a rubber band chain?
It uses a 5mm HTD timing belt.
@@goBILDA what is it wrapped around ? (Wheel thing)
Can that strafer chassis go over the pipes without too much trouble?

@@katharsis72 lol I’m blind thx
Are you guys competing or is this just for fun? Because if you are competing my team might not make it very far
How many kits did you use ? Would just using the FTC starter kit be a good idea
Thanks

@@PhilSzymanowski Please send a screenshot of the part where it says that we can pick up only one freight at a time.
