Bike engine was cold & engine oil was low & I started my bike & didn’t let it warm up & reached 100km/h on 4th gear in seconds. Due to this engine oil didn’t circulate in whole engine. The bike started struggling to go faster so i changed the gear to 5th. Then bike sped up till 103 and suddenly a tik tik sound start coming and bike engine got off. After taking to a roadside mechanic he somehow started the bike & the sound just kept coming. After that i took my bike to service centre and told them what happened. They told me that your engine is seized & it will take 1 week to repair & it will cost you around 10k. After taking my bike back i asked them why the engine seized? Is it because of my exhaust?? They told me that the engine oil was low & you must be riding very fast on high rpm most of the time. And i said yes i ride my bike on high rpm & I change gears on 9k rpm. They said that's the reason why your bike engine seized and not because of exhaust.
Actually Gixxer chalane wale kai baar ye bhool jaate hain ki ye bas 150cc ka air cooled engine hai.. R15 aur KTM ki tarah liquid cooled original performance bike nahi hai..
I do have agixxer 155 (2015)..Can u tell me after engine open u kept new mineral engine oil then aftr how much wen u change another engine oil?and can we change fully synthetic engine oil after mineral engine oil? N after the haf engine repair how ut feels to ride?i mean does it feels like riding a new bike with power and smooth?n how much mechanic give warranty on ur gixxer after engine repair? Plz reply
After changing engine parts u have to follow new bike rules. Like service after 500 then 2000. & yes you can use full synthetic oil. The engine feels like smooth & power is ok. new engine we have to first do the engine breaking, like the new bike break in period. Warranty i get is 1 year for each part that is changed.
Agr engine ka kam ho gya h to bike 60 se upr nhi chalani. Or jhatke se nhi bhagani. Aram se accelerator dena. 2nd service tk aram se chalao jada bhagao mt

Engine cease is just occurs because of low level of oil. No matter what type of oil. Oil k type se koi fark nhi pdta. Aap 120/- litre vala lal ghoda oil dale to bhi koi problem nhi. Bs oil ka level sahi hona chahiye. Personal experience.
I have a Suzuki Gixxer BSIV 2017 model, I have completed 44930 Km. In 22 Months. I haven't face any problem yet. U should use Motul 10w40 fully synthetic oil. Don't blame your bike it's depends on your will to maintain.. in my opinion it's best product of Suzuki in 150 cc segment..
Mera to isliye ho gya qki mene IPL ki ride k time local se dalwaya tha local oil. Qki meri bike me engine oil khatm ho gya tha Rishikesh se ane k bad. 2k km chal gyi bike or mjhe time mila nhi change krane ka to isliye jaldi kam ho gya local engine oil.

@@aakashsoni226 Gixxer SF mein yeh aam shikayat hai oil kam hone ki.. Suzuki engines are only good when new but not durable for a long term.. This is where Yamaha shines followed by Honda.. Yamaha engines are rock solid.. a friend has a Fazer 2012 model.. 90,000 kms chal chuki hai lekin aaj tak engine nahi khula.. I also had a unicorn which was butter smooth and first engine overhaul happened at 60,000 kms.. Suzuki ki after sales service already bahut poor hai..
Yes the after sale service is very poor But I think initial batch off gixxer has this oil drinking problem My trusted local mechanic told me that most of bike engines have only 20000-30000 km life Some lucky engines lasts more than 50000 km and yes yamaha engines are very good and reliable
My gixxer sf FI version is 5months old 2800kms done so far. Mostly i ride it in city traffic, last Sunday I went for a highway ride and achieved a top speed of 115km/hr. After that ride i feel that my bike ride has smoothen further. I always prefer the company recommended engine oil. However your video is quite informative and i will always give a second thought before riding at such high top speed.
Bike condition is okay. It’s been 5000km. The pickup & top speed is less than before. I think it will improve after 10k kilometres like it happened when my bike was new.

Use motul 10w40 engine oil top up 50-100 ml after 3000km, motul runs minimum 8000 km, you can rev at high RPM with smooth engine sound.

Desert Fox bat sahi h apki. But local oil jada nhi tikta jaldi khatm hota h. Pta ni chala mjhe kb khatm ho gya.

Bike is not going above 113. Milage dropped because of new engine. Pickup is not that good as before.

Pickup problem might be due to new piston kit. After break in period the problem will get solve I guess if it’s not big problem.
