Fran is the pinnacle of natural beauty, strick you got a great one, and you are a great man. I literally feel like I'm there with y'all, narration is top notch and great editing. Ty for sharing your adventures.
The lower part of the agave plant is used to make tequila. You dig it up and trim all the leaves off of it then cook it with steam. after that you crush it up and capture the juice then distill it to make the tequila. You can also pull the tip out of it carefully and some fiber remains attached to stitch up wounds.
Woe the agaves in Australia! I'm a retired guide in the US Southwest. Agaves are such an important plant for ancient native americans and mexicans. I'm fascinated that they are growing on that island. The roots are useed to make Mescal and tequila and if you smap of a needle point and peel it back along the leaf you have a threaded needle and thread to sew with. Great video guys.
During the time between my early twenties to early thirties I lived, worked and explored some of the most remote and wonderful areas of my vast and diverse country. I met many great people, experienced the majesty of nature and lived as I did when I was growing up. Absolute freedom and a great hands on education. Congratulations to you two for your adventurous spirits, your curious natures and your abilities to share your travels with me (us). Cheers from central Canada!
Your videos just keep getting better. I think the way you have gotten completely natural being in front of the camera and your editing skills getting better makes it more homey. Thanks again
I love your knowledge of the wild and your ability to be in it and thrive. Fran is a wonderful help meet too. Great pair. I love your views into the wild.
You two really inspire me. You're truly living life to the fullest with all of the basics and the very minimal best of the things that todays world offers. My wife and I would absolutely love to do what you are doing if we lived in an area like yours and were brave enough to quit our jobs and dive into true freedom. Y'all are truly an inspiration.
Hi Fran and Jack an easy way to catch stubborn mud crabs could be to use a tangle of fine fishing line or a couple of the fine mesh onion bags with a fish head or parts in the mesh tied to a branch with the bait submerged. The idea is to get the mud crab or yabby tangled in the mesh in time for dinner. Cheers from Apollo Bay Vic.
"Yabby" is a Mantis shrimp or another name for the Mud Crab? Nvrmnd, I Googled it... Crayfish, known as Lobster without huge claws.. 😂 In Oregon, USA our crayfish are like 15-25cm...🦞Lol
Hi Fran n Jack , hope all's going well in the craziest of weather , another fantastic episode with again incredible photography , as a chef of 40 years , yes Fran is always right , Jack keep trying to stay away from the crock-a-fellas and stick strick to the mud crabs ... Wishing you both and your family's the merriest of Christmases and a happy new year , stay safe and healthy, much love from Melbourne Australia
Hello you two , enjoyed exploring the island with you . I tell ya' , I cringe every time Strick goes into the mud crab holes looking for dinner . I'm truly happy that he hasn't found / lost anything that he didn't want to . Never mind ! I know what I mean . Anyway it's always a pleasure . Y'all have a good week .
😂 I think I see the pros/cons of walking or taking the banana boat! You 2 work thru disagreements pretty well! That was funny and you both seemed to see the humor in the disagreement. ❤️
I have watched several of you catch and cook videos...and noticed you cook the coconut cream...I was taught to cook everything and put the coconut cream in last. Has a much sweet coconut flavour than cooking the coconut cream with with everything else.
Cheers Jack and Fran, that was really cool. Loved the cook up at the end, looked so good! Wishing you both a merry Christmas, Stay safe, have fun!♥👌🎄🤗👍🐟🦀
I'm telling you, Riviera Yachts. Right there in Australia. They make them there and have been on a TH-camr kick. Get you a nice 42' yacht. A/C, stove, fridge, oven, big comfy bed, dining table, starlink, seakeeper, storage galore.
Yes, I agree with Fran and it appears she was right, as there was at least one croc on that island. Come on, Jack you’re smarter than that. Don’t take unnecessary risks
When it comes to dangerous reptiles, my rule has always been " proceed with caution". I have personally delt with both venomous snakes and alligators. I have no fear of them, however I don't tempt my fate either. So if you are in crock country, and have a raft, then it is better to use a raft than wade in the water.
Try getting a battrey from thunder home of the 12 volt. And ur solar will keep it charged ans it will run a fridge on the boat for 4 days so u can have cold stuff and keep food fresh
Jack, Fran is right don't roll the dice. You are alone in CROCK Country. What would you do walking toward the beach and a Crock attacked. With all you have done in life don't take any chances. Merry Christmas gang and stay safe.
Yay for being drenched in beauty! Speaking of snakes, in Oregon we have gorgeous green Timber Rattlesnakes, get up to 2 meters long and thick as your forearm. A small one got into my cabin last year and bit me! Luckily it didn't inject venom.

I was today years old when I learnt this
Thanks bro
You ferment the juice like wine& then distill it. Can’t make liquor out of juice my guy
U😮😅😮
You two brighten my day on each new adventure. Thank you for putting a smile on an old mans face!!
Fran is always right of course! 😁
Absolutely !
@@michelebush2138 very true, and yet I would prefer even the false security of the raft.
Yea when it comes to croc brainz, eat Fran everytime. All day and night. Yum 😋😂
Safety first always
Good choice with the raft don’t be crock food make the right choices

I think that may be the main reason they were brought there. I love Agave syrup

The variety of swimming suits you wear is amazing Fran. You make them all look great…
She doesn't need a swim suite to look great.
Been a few years now since I had fresh mud crab like that, how I miss it!! Thanks Folks.

You promised your mum you’d be careful of crocs, Jack… And Fran says “Nope”… best do as you’re told, mate. 😂
I have watched several of you catch and cook videos...and noticed you cook the coconut cream...I was taught to cook everything and put the coconut cream in last. Has a much sweet coconut flavour than cooking the coconut cream with with everything else.
Joy and the tucker looked awesome too
Sticking your hand in a mud crab hole, what could go wrong, respect
You guys rock. Thanks for sharing!
I get anxious watching you cooking and/or eating with your back to the water in obvious croc country.
Thanks kids 🌊🐠🐟👣👍🏻😎

Fran is the Boss safety first specially in a remote places

Why take chances upsetting the only woman for miles and miles😂
NGL this is my new favourite survival channel now

Yes, I agree with Fran and it appears she was right, as there was at least one croc on that island. Come on, Jack you’re smarter than that. Don’t take unnecessary risks

Another great episode. Loved it guys! Sweet chilli crab looks deliciouso!
Agave plants are also edible. The juices from the plants make a nice syrup as a sweetener and the are the basis for tequila..
Jack, Fran is right don't roll the dice. You are alone in CROCK Country. What would you do walking toward the beach and a Crock attacked. With all you have done in life don't take any chances. Merry Christmas gang and stay safe.
Fun times! Be safe kids😊
Да что ж вы делаете!!?)))))) Приятного аппетита , друзья!
One day Jack, it won't be a Mud Crab in that hole! Nervy work getting those things out.
1:29 haahah the cloud looks like a lion
true
Amazing location and the dinner looks amazing
You guys should consider selling Castaways' castaways (things you find on the beaches) - I love that old bottle!
If the bar waitress ever gets crabs that big, we're all doomed! LOL!
Kind of got excited during your crab fight too. Feel bad for it😜 but glad you made it without losing a hand
On Fran’s side always.❤
Yay for being drenched in beauty! Speaking of snakes, in Oregon we have gorgeous green Timber Rattlesnakes, get up to 2 meters long and thick as your forearm. A small one got into my cabin last year and bit me! Luckily it didn't inject venom.
