Great job Matt, You did an outstanding job going over the starting and proper shut off procedures. However, in the manual it states before you start the engine to also turn the energy saving-saving switch to the "ON" position (see figure 6) before cranking. I contacted Powersmart and confirmed that the manual is correct . Again, great job overall!!!

The directions say to put the energy saving mode to "ON" when starting and to turn the energy saving mode to off for loads over 1200 watts. My harbor freight generator is the opposite.
I have a 1000 watt ev zlx speaker. Just ordered the generator and it will be here before the jet tailgate on Sunday. I’ll be running it for 4 and a half hours so I’ll check back and let you know how it goes.

Will it run a AC?
My generator is a 1800 watt running, my 5000 btu ac draws 1420 watts so this powersmart should power a 5000 btu ac with no plm.
