sorry about the lighting/coloring in this video y'all! My camera was on some weird setting so it's all over the place 😭 hope you guys enjoy the Q&A though!
I LOVE that you respect the privacy of your friends, family and strangers! Especially minors, I think that sharing precious moments and kids on social media has gotten to be to much and kinda out of control. Amen!
New England girl here! Born and raised in Vermont and now living in New Hampshire right on the border of both states. It is absolutely stunning in this area! 🍁
Thank you so much for your honesty and vulnerability. I am dating for the first time in a few years, and I have SO many friends getting married rn. I feel pressure to get married as soon as possible because that’s what people my age do. But your advice about taking it slow, paying attention to red flags, and dating for at least 3 years is such a good reminder for me! Thank you! If it’s a good relationship, it will be worth the wait. Wishing nothing but the best for you! Thank you for this video!
You seem like you have a beautiful soul (because we don'' really know you).....don't settle....so glad you are in a good place! Stay strong you're a beautiful woman.! Love your channel!
Yessss please create the content creation series 😊 I have been doing YT for 5 years and am still struggling to get it off the ground. I asked the question about healing after divorce, what you would do besides YT and where would you live lol thanks for answering 🙏❤
Don't get me wrong, I respect that other people chose to do it. But coming from a christian family I've never understood why "you can't live with someone without being marrid" has anything to do with religion. To me, is has nothing to do with that. I personally would, as you said, never marry someone I haven't lived with first. I think you have to live together to really get to know each other well enough to marry someone. Personal preference of course, but I believe you can have a religion without following every little bits and bobs. Things changes throughout the years and most religions are not "up to date" all the time. It doesn't mean you can't believe in something in my opinion.
I love watching your videos. I think you are such a sweet woman! I love your style and personality! I watch ALL of your videos. You are one of my favorite creators to watch hands down. But Ms. Katie, I disagree on your perspective on living with your boyfriend and being able to not have sex while living together. If a man is able to refrain himself and not make love to a woman he sleeps in bed with every night, that's offensive. Bc God built us to desire sex. God is absolutely clear on this matter. Living together and sleeping in the same bed are for the confines of marriage only. I understand why you are nervous to marry someone without living with them, but lean on God's understanding and not your own. I am so sorry you went through what you went through. I understand your hesitation in not wanting to share as a christian, why you live with your boyfriend. Like you explained, it can easily cause others to stumble. 1 Corinthians and John 4 discuss living with a man when you are not married to him. Hebrews 13:4- Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled. The Bible says to abstain from sexual immorality (like sleeping in the same bed together or even looking upon each other in lust), to flee from it. Anything we do with another, that is meant for marriage only, is an act of immorality. It's not how God intended for us to live. Jonathan Pokluda has wonderful advice on this matter in his book "Outdated" and he discusses this topic on his podcast Becoming Something. I've been where you are. I don't want you or any young women to be led astray while trying to follow the Lord and His commandments. I encourage you to test this topic to the scriptures more. Go deeper with your study on this topic. The Bible says anyone we lead astray, their blood is on our hands. Please be discerning when discussing such serious scriptural topics. Believing in God is not enough- for even the demons believe and tremble. Christianity is a lifestyle, full of turning away from our personal desires. We've all been there Ms. Katie! I do hope you receive this well.
I went through something very similar to you, married at 17 to someone way older than me and didn’t see the red flags because I had no parents and felt like he was the only person who loved me. Thank you for talking about it. It’s so easy to try to sweep it under the rug to avoid judgement
