We drive the 2023 MG Hector Petrol CVT Automatic || First Drive Review

It looks bolder, has more features and retains the same engine options. The 2023 Hector comes with petrol manual, petrol automatic and diesel manual combinations. Is this 5 seater still a highly recommended package in the premium SUV space? We drive it for a day in Delhi to tell you our test drive review opinion!

My MG hector sharp pro CVT gives city mileage of 12-13 and at highway 15-16 with AC on.
Superb ride quality.
Drive below 2000 rpm
Accelerate car smoothly
Don't harsh break
Use cruise control above 40
Use left thumb to increase or decrease speed of car not accelerate paddle.

This is one those videos which did not talk about Negativity of the vehicles. Many of them are only cribbing about rubberband effect, rolling body, bumpy ride, etc etc. thanks for the good review !

I think the mild hybrid should have been retained, it helps in the mileage which can touch single digits or even 5-6kmpl in start stop traffic

I took a test ride ... everything is fine but just the diesel automatic is clearly missing. That's why I'm waiting... also took a test drive for Harrier but hector fills more luxurious

Diesel automatic would have put it straight up the charts . Waited since april last year and booked petrol cvt finally.
