Watching this video while today i just bought my first Kymco, Downtown 350i. I live in a north Italy city (Genova) and scooter here is becoming a necessity. And a 300/400 cc gives the right power to leave potential dangerous situations and are good for short touring and highway too and in cities still are not expensive with fuel and easy to manage. That's why this section scooters are so popular.

The Nr.1 "problem" with scooters is that, the rear suspension system is not as in motorcycles, independent, but carries along the engine weight with the wheel... This affects a lot the overall geometry and on bigger engines especially, say over 300cc (I own the Exciting 500i), it's hitting on your back everytime you hit a bump... I think they should all be made as the AK550 😁

I have a problem that I can't solve .... I set the navigation on the noodoe but after 5 minutes, when the phone (not using it) goes to the lock screen the navigator doesn't work anymore, the GPS doesn't take the signal anymore! a red light appears with the satellite symbol and a question mark! how is it possible what? can you help me Thank you

Sana pinakita din sa review na dadaan xa sa malubak na parte ng kalasada or ung maputik,maalikabok para malaman ung tibay ng gulong..kung madulas ba or hindi..At kung mabilis ba kapitan ng dumi lalo na pag scooter type..Mahirap humatak ng sales pag kulang kulang ang review lalo na't ang YAMAHA and HONDA ang namamayagpag d2 sa PINAS at the same time,once na masiraan madaming mabibilhan ng piyesa..

prolema sa kymco walang exclusive distributor sa pinas so far i know. mahirap hanapan ng piyesa kung magkasira according sa mga kakilala ko na kymco owner. this is what preventing pinoy to get a kymco unit. isa na ako dito dati nung nilabas ang KPIPE. i was too reluctant
Meron silang plant sa taguig.
Sa metro manila or near provinces, madami naman silang distributor, kahit pyesa hindi naman mahirap hanapin, di nga lang kasing dami ng pyesa ng mga motor ng Yamaha at Honda. Hindi ko lang alam sa ibang parte ng Pinas.
Madami distributor ng kymco parts sa NCR. And take it from me sir, yung kymco super 8 ko, 6 yrs. na pero wala akong prinoblema. Until now may nmax nako pero hindi ko siya binebenta..grabe sa tibay. Pang harabas ko yun

I am planning to get a motorcycle which is xpressway legal and i am considering kymco..but i a, hesitant to pursue it coz i dont trust china products.can you enlighten me with regards to that machine!thanks and you are such a wonderful reviewer.
It's taiwanese brand not china. They are reliable and pretty popular in Europe. Also, some of BMW maxiscoot's engine is made by Kymco.
they should make a 1000 cc scooter in the future so they can charge people 1 million each. it’s seems the pricing depends on how many cc it has.
I say bring back the Xciting 500 make it a S500 & give it 50Hp and give the S400 another 5Hp they would truly Dominate the Maxi Scooter Segment . Just for the Record my guest is they dropped the Xciting 500 because of the new AK 550 .
