Nice review, there are several factors that I liked and have considered in selecting this model in particular for my first ever maxiscoot.
I have the Nmax, FZ and has test-ridden an ADV 150, but they all looked small to me since I am 5'11 and 6'0 (when wearing timbs as my shoes), in that case, I considered comfort (ergonomics) to be one of the factors for considering the S400i due to its comfort, size and other pros it has.
Good thing na nakita ko tong review na to. I'm planning to save up pa for the TCS version hopefully, this 2023 available na in our local market.
you will not regret getting one of these, sir. Ako man, ito dapat ang kukunin ko. Naattract lang ako sa AK550, yung kuya nito sa Kymco lineup. Hehehe

@@KingSengco bought the kymco, brand new, going to pick it up in a few hours. Got in special promotion, less 1k euros, also gave my lovely 150cc pcx, my needs were too much for it.

Ak550 uses belt. :)
As gar as i know, ak550's belt ranges from 16500 to 20k. Pulley, no idea as of now

i have in the past had 4 new kymco scooters including the 300 and this 400,i switched to honda as it seems in the uk,the dealers and kymco have little interest in england market now.however i agree they are brilliant and in some ways above honda.thanks
Honda scooters are stonkjng good too! And the Yamaha. Here in the Philippines, this gives that similar level of performance for a much more affordble price point

Personally I would want to have it keyless na for convenience and extra safety. Not sure bakit di ba ginawang keyless ni Kymco. Hopefully sa mga future release ng 400cc ni kymco, keyless na and may traction control.

Very nice review of the Xciting 400i! I also have a Kymco Like! The 150i though. But have been contemplating on getting one of these! By the way, what's your height? Im 5'8 and was wondering if I could flat foot this scooter.

Btw 6ft po height ko. Kaya iflat foot if I sit on the front part of the seat. Pero kahit ganun, ugali ko talagang pa-tip toe pag tutukod. Hehehe
@@KingSengco I actually visited a showroom earlier! And yes kaya nga i flat foot even sa height ko wahaha! Also coming from a Like 150i magaan din dalin yung Xciting. Even putting it on the center stand is easy! Same experience with the AK550! Bulky lang sila vs the small scooters pero they're surprisingly light. Konting ipon pa I'll get the Xciting soon! Ride safe sir!
Is it recommendable for begginers with slight experience on motorcycles?
Highly recommended. Konting sanay lang sa physical size niya at timbang, then you're all good. Take it easy lang sa expressway sa una, at mag triple ingat kung hindi pa sanay sa ganoong speeds.

Hindi po matagtag sir. Actually, pag may angkas, mas pino pa ang laro ng suspension. :)

How's the acceleration and top speed?
Did not test fpr tpp speed, but I was able to cruise at 140kph easily on the expressway. :)
Acceleration is great. Feels light in its feet. :)

100%! 400cc legit sir. I’ve used it on the expressway a lot. And I have seen a lot of people riding it on the expressways. :)

Price is 359k, fuel consumption is around 29-31km/L from what I’ve experienced. City, highway and mountain road rides. :)
