- Supplies for many skills can be quite difficult to come by in OSRS, especially herblore, construction and farming. Fortunately, there's a couple of excellent methods in the game to help the process. Today we work on a bunch of various skills, achievement diaries and quests with a particular focus towards unlocking the Kingdom of Miscellania to provide us with a bunch of skilling supplies.

Hey everyone, welcome to my channel. I've been playing Old School Runescape for years and I'm looking for a new challenge...so I'm making an Ironman!
The goal is to do all kinds of skilling, PVM, bossing and collection log completionist content to experience more of the game and build the best maxed ironman that I can.
This ironman series is to document my journey and hopefully have some awesome moments to look back on in the future to see how much progress I've made.
If you want to tag along then welcome! Pleasure to have you and I hope you enjoy.
Have a good one!

Hey Everyone! A huge shout out to you all for the immense support on the videos. We just hit 3k subs which is ridiculous! Thank you all and I hope to keep bringing out more content for you to enjoy. 😄❤

Been so busy IRL lately I've not played in about 6 weeks, finally got back to it and finished off the 70 agility & graceful grind and now its onto thieving for some moneys!
Just sat here and binged your last 6 videos that I've missed and BRO! you've made so much progress, that berserker ring was MASSIVE. Well done bro, keep it up as always you're smashing it!
I feel your pain about being busy IRL. The past couple of months have been hectic and I haven't got to play/record as much as I wanted. Is what it is. Congrats on finishing up the agility milestone, graceful is such a handy one to have done. Glad you're still enjoying the videos enough to binge through 6 haha, really appreciate the support mate, means a lot
I love your videos! As a first time Iron man myself, it's really great to experience the game along with someone who helps explain and show things I might not know. Thank you for your videos! Also, I too am a big fan of Ibans, it has carried me sooo much
Thanks a lot Spankey, really awesome to hear that you're enjoying the videos. It's actually my first Ironman too, been a lot of fun learning as I go. All the best on your journey, hope it's going well so far. Iban's is certainly an awesome piece of gear, helps with so much content. Thanks again for the kind words mate.
It's been said before but I enjoy this series a great deal. Refreshing to see some videos with levels around the same as my ironman! Very nice to watch. Thank you for devoting so much time to showcase the entire journey start to finish.
I appreciate the kind words mate, really means a lot. I'm glad that I can create something that other people enjoy watching, it's a really cool experience. Likewise, thank you for devoting the time to watch the videos and for stopping by to say hey in the comments!
My probably luckiest rng drops would have to be me killing fire giants and getting a d spear and a shield half in the same trip in one inventory. Great to see a new vid!!!! Thanks!!!
That's an out of the box response I wasn't expecting haha, but you're right, in terms of odds that's pretty lucky! Great to see you around as usual Isaac, thanks for always tuning in.
Fletching the maples logs from the kingdom into full bows and then selling them to the range guy in Rimmington at about 10 bows a world is how I replenished my cash for the kingdom. So it basically paid for it self.
Nice tip, I wasn't aware of that. I was just going to fletch some arrows or make a few bows and dump them at some point, but that's a good option to keep in mind. Thanks for sharing!
Of course! Just another note, I got my bow strings from the Temple trekking mini game, you get at minimum 100 bow strings per completion. Hope that helps!
Yeah but if he gets his slayer up money will come you can get 400k and more in cash from alching drops from just one task
Had no clue you could get bowstrings there, good to know. Thanks mate!
Yup, that's true also. Eventually, cash won't be as much of an issue. For now, it's just about juggling activities as I need it. Will see how it all pans out.
great video as always! My most memorable grind so far is probaly the dragon warhammer, got it on 4,3k KC. So not over droprate, but bad enough haha. Keep up the good work, always a
pleasure watching these videos :)
Thanks mate, appreciate the continued support as always! That dwh grind is just in the awkward zone where you technically can't complain about being dry, but it's just long enough that it starts to get on the nerves. Glad to hear it was a reasonably happy ending! It's my pleasure to keep make these videos, and it's made all the better by the incredible support regulars like yourself keep giving.
As someone who is about to max a main and start a fresh iron to make a series on, this was nice to watch. I feel so lost when it comes to ironman so i have alot to learn. Thankyou for this ❤
Early congrats on maxing! It's such an awesome feeling when you finally get there after such a long grind. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I know the feeling, getting started on an Iron can be overwhelming, and it's easy to get lost. This is my first Ironman, but it's been a lot of fun learning as I go and seeing the game from a new perspective. Good luck on your future Iron journey and series!
@@juicybeetosrs ❤️❤️❤️❤️ tysm!!
Zulrah is by far my most memorable grind. After a few attempts and failing to jad phase a bit I learned how it worked and then everything just clicked. It didn’t matter what rotation was thrown at me it was just natural at that point. Probably the most intimidating boss turned into my favorite hands down.
Zulrah is an awesome boss for getting into PvM and building up some fundamental mechanics, especially with switching gear and moving for rotations. It's an awesome feeling when you can overcome a challenge like that and make it into a comfortable grind. Nice job pushing through! Thanks for sharing.
Loving this series, keep up the work JB
Thanks a lot Jacked, glad you're enjoying it. Appreciate the support.
My man is grinding hard!
Never too late to drop by mate. Always appreciate the support and your efforts to check out all the vids
You may want to plant white berry bush in monastery and in champions guild spots so you start passively getting berries when ever you tele there. Had around 2k on gimp when I got the herb level so i can only recommend it.
Yup, that's a great tip. I've been meaning to do it but just keep forgetting! My stash is building up quite nicely as I haven't able to play too much the past few weeks (so I just camp out in the farming guild doing contracts, collecting harvests etc) but it's still something I should make sure to do. Thanks for the reminder :)
Thanks for the vid JB!
Thanks for supporting the vid Conor, appreciated as always!
Love the vids
Thanks for the support mate, much appreciated. I'm glad you're enjoying the vids. It's such a good feeling when the game balances out the RNG haha. Glad you got a happy ending after suffering on the DWH!
Best grind iv had was during wintertodt on my Hardcore before even getting 99fm I got every item including the pet! Oo but no dragon ax 😅
That's the dream ironman grind right there, in and out of the Wintertodt prison with everything you need by 99. Dragon axe is fun to get but at the end of the day, it's not even that important to have so early on.
@juicybeetosrs I agree on the ax and funny enough first pet iv ever gotten and it's on my hardcore 🤣
RNG works in mysterious ways haha. I'll take any pets on any account at the end of the day!
After getting spooned the hydra claw on 53kc i went over 3.5x drop rate at kril for zammy spear. took 483kc and it was definitely the most memorable grind ive done up to this point. Was bad enough that i stopped playing for about 6 months.
Im an rs3 main enjoying old school on my group ironman with your guidance!
It's always great to see players enjoying both games. I'd like to dive into rs3 a bit some day, just have to find the time. I'm glad my vids are of help. Thanks for stopping by!
It depends on what kind of construction you're wanting to do, but as an ironman working on the 70-83 construction grind I would highly suggest teak over mahogany. You'll need 6.7k teak or around 3.3mgp vs 5.5k Mahogany or 8.3mgp - That is if you're doing Mahogany Homes from 70-83, which is my preferred training method.
Thanks for providing those numbers, Grimlen, very helpful to have. I suspect teak mahogany homes will end up being the way I go. I'll likely keep the Kingdom on mahogany to stock up some more birdhouse runs supplies, then chop the teaks later on - gives me an easy afk task to keep up my sleeve for when I need to afk. Thanks again for the insight, and good luck on finishing your 83 cons grind!
these vids are absolutely clutch my dude. level 70 on my ironman and just got back into osrs like hardcore bc of ironman mode. thanks so much for these please keep them coming!! they help me alot with the direction of my account. god bless
Thanks for the positive feedback mate, glad you're enjoying the vids. Welcome back to the game, you can never truly escape it haha! Hope your journey is a good one.
I got my Dragon Pickaxe on my 20th Chaos elemental KC. I was like 70-80 combat level and the encounters took almost 10 minutes each. All my bros were angry and happy at the same time when I finllay got it!
With ~10minute kills you certainly wouldn't want to be stuck there for too long, that was a really nice early drop to get! That's what the bros are there for, support but also to rub it in when the luck goes your way haha.
I cringed when I saw you clear place holders lol Im like what is this man doing
Long awaited
Long indeed, hopefully I can slowly start upping the frequency again. Thanks for hanging around and stopping by as usual mate!
My most memorable rng is definitely medium clues. I got spiked manacles (basically dragon boots with no requirement to wear) at 3 kc & like 30 combat, and then just recently got rangers at 45 kc. Only 82 slayer atm, so still a ways off from pegasians.
Clues can be some of the most fun or brutal content in the game given it's all about RNG, sounds like you're on the winning side! Some very nice gear to setup the account, gz on the rangers especially.
@juicybeetosrs ty :D the luck comes and goes, but we take the wins when we get them!
Exactly right, got to celebrate every win we can because there's always a sneaky dry streak lurking!
for more bank space you could also store less used seeds in seed vault in farming guild.
Thanks for the pointer. I'll definitely make sure to do that the next time I'm running low on space, I always forget to use that vault because I'm not used to having so many seeds to begin with!
Good goal to for now is the new powered staff from the new path of glouphrie quest. And the new terror birds and turtle things give decent mid game iron loot.
To be honest, I had no idea this quest was a thing 😅 Was quite the surprise when I logged in and saw the update notice. I definitely need to look into some more. Thanks for the heads up about what's good in the new content!
Ya quest is easy and can help you get to zulrah a lot faster if you wanted to camp out your blowpipe and stuff. Dps wise the new staff is about the same dps as ibans and better dps when you are 81 magic.
I come across your videos quite often and they're good content and fun to watch. The only reason I'm not subscribing is the clickbait titles that throw me off every time; I'm always expecting a kind of guide or helpful video around a certain topic, while it's just another ironman progress video. Maybe it would help if you number your videos (Ironman from Scratch #54) so it is clear that it's in fact part of a series. Otherwise great videos, cheers. :)
Appreciate the honest feedback mate. I do try to tailor the videos to be a hybrid of sorts between guides/progress videos and explain certain activities/methods as I introduce them, rather than just 10minutes of listing off progress. Of course, depending on the topic or what activity I'm up to in a particular video it will always skew one way or the other and sometimes feel more like just a progress video. It would be a bold faced lie to claim that there isn't some gamesmanship in the titles, but alas, that is the system within which we operate. Hopefully, I am still delivering information that is related, which I do try to do. It sounds like you generally enjoy the actual content of the videos, in spite of the packaging, which is the end goal I guess. At the end of the day, as long as the majority of people who see the videos enjoy what they watch then that's what counts. If they feel like they're being baited too much then they'll stop watching. No worries at all if you don't want to subscribe for that reason, it's perfectly fair. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, nice to see some civilised critique/feedback on the internet!
I did the sara kill for the elite fremmy diary and the arma cbow dropped after a horrible rcb kill. Almost tabbed out cause i didnt expect anything
That's an absurd bit of luck right there. Would have been livid tabbing out just to see that pop up, very lucky you didn't! Congrats on the sweet RNG.
I have 1k vyre pickpockets and have gotten blood shard drop twice. According to the DRY calculator on the wiki I am sentient water.
Also got dragon defender in 30 min.
Sentient water is the best kind of water! Congrats on the shards. That dragon defender luck is beautiful, it can be such an infuriating grind to get stuck on.
@@juicybeetosrs The funny part about the defender grind is that I spent close to 12 hrs just to get to rune defender. Turns out there's a bug with ring of wealth that prevents defenders from having normal rates (I think). Once I removed ring of wealth I was getting normal rates.
That is brutal. I'm surprised you were able to persist for 12 hours. I would have rage quit long before haha. At least you found out about the bug eventually! I'll have to make sure to keep the ring of wealth far away when I get to the defender grind, just in case.
seeing that 99 firemaking was like a flashbang. Also curiouis why you didn't do GotR for runecrafting, though the answer might be obvious haha
Haha that 99 firemaking has been lurking for a long time, I did the traditional Ironman grind early on to get it out of the way. GotR is great from everything I hear (haven't done it myself yet, came out after my main was 99), but since I was just doing a couple of quick levels I figured it was easier to smash out a few trips of fire runes for now. I will definitely do GotR at some stage, but it'll be when I really knuckle down and dig into a longer rc grind.
@@juicybeetosrs yeah won't lie hitting 65 RC on my main before mornings end 2 feels rough. I fell I'm love with the minigame, couldn't stop myself haha
It's all about doing what you enjoy, just a game at the end of the day!
Should show all stats when you level up insted of inventory
Thanks for catching me on that, I'm still a bit forgetful with some things and keeping in the back of my mind that it may go into a video.
I got both the pegasian and eternity crystals in my first 12 kills of Cerb
883 KC on black drags for a Visage on a IM def pure. On the same account a 2kc Pharaohs Scepter.
Those are some very nice KCs. That account was doing well for itself!
Grinding for angler outfit in the old trawler and going more than 2x the kc.
All while playing with 250 ping and getting kicked for inactivity from every 2nd or 3rd game.
I'm in pain just imagining that. The fishing trawler grind is so tedious with how slow it is for every run. I'm sorry you had to suffer such a cruel fate! Someone has to suffer so that the rest of us don't 😅
Tiny tempor at 27 kc, full pyro set and tome at 119kc!! Been getting lucky
You lucky bugger, I really wanted that Tiny Tempor pet haha. Sounds like you're smashing the Ironman grinds with ease, hopefully the luck keeps up!
Me, a maxed main watching this: Ah yes, passive resources, indeed.
I mean, waiting for GE orders to fill is passive...right? 😅
Grindiest is the jaw from basilisk. Luckiest is kq pet at 14 kc lol
im here late, but i got nihil horn in a full nex mass on release 60 kc .. 10x my bank value ive never nerded out so hard before. lol i had to contain it my son was sleeping beside me
mine was rex pet on the first kc!
That's glorious. You almost have to sacrifice the b ring grind at that point so you can forever be at 1kc pet 🤣
More than 150 daganoths, no ring
Ouch that's rough, fingers crossed it comes soon for you mate!
1000 high gambles at barbarian assault and still no pet
I got agility pet at varrock 1 in 21k or something stupid
It's always a nice surprise when you get a random pet drop out of nowhere! I guess that's partly why they're in the game haha. Congrats on the drop!
99 fm no tome or d axe. 16m exp : (
That's a very sad time indeed, sorry to hear it 😞
1 KC TOB PEt and also 10 KC TOA pet. LEL
That's just silly! Congrats on your insane RNG, hopefully the gods didn't balance it out with a mega dry streak elsewhere haha.
@@juicybeetosrs For sure they did, 9k dry for the Hydra claw!
Ouch, that's brutal. At least Hydra is a chill boss, but damn that's a monstrous amount of kills to go dry on :(
Imbued heart at only 2 superior kc.
That's such an incredible drop to get since superiors are so slow to grind out, you lucky bugger! Congrats.
Arent all ironmen from scrath tho?
They are indeed.
Never lucky/10
Never indeed 😂
