It's true, it's hilarous to have this whole whimsical boy-scout who loves games, friends and getting better, and then someone comes in like "get a new shirt you freak!!!"
Sarah's expressionless swivel and leg cross while staring at the camera absolutely killed me for some reason. This whole stream is the straw that broke the camels back. I'm subbing to the patreon.
I put this on for a few minutes to put on in the background, and then wad glued to it for the hour :) there is a quote that goes like "spend as much money as you can afford on your shoes and your mattress, as if you're not in one you're in the other". Maybe that should be extended to chairs.
Definitely it should be extended to chairs. People spend dozens of hours a week at an office chair. Spending a few hundred dollars on one is actually quite cheap when you consider how much use it gets.
This is amazing on every level. The shopping, the alternate ways to hold a fork, the expired chocolate. So many good laughs! I hope this series continues!
@44:25: i genuinely can't stop laughing. i'm crying! Sorry, Ben, but this was one of the funniest moments of many on New Show +. Don't worry, i often find myself shoveling. Sometimes it's easier. 🍴😂😥
Ben may have dyspraxia as that can effect the way you hold a pen and cutlery (source: I've also got dyspraxia) and also the chocolate wasn't expired it's European so it goes day/month/year
Yo i work for Ikea. The concepts behind how they keep the cost low is legit, but people that work in the warehouse get dicked just like all the other warehouse jobs. Crazy you can make 95k being a "team lead" which consists of clicking on buttons to tell a person to go where, and that person theyre telling what to do makes 30k.. but hey be a loyal robot for 10yrs and you too can make that 95k.. i mean.. beep boop beep beep
I did four years on the floor doing different things then I switched departments. Honestly it wouldnt be that bad if turnover wasnt so high. If you stick it out it gets better. With all the benefits you can retire pretty early. I just feel bad for anyone starting entry level and theyre 40 plus in age. Its hard work.
Hey Ben and Sarah, the chocolate you ate (51:10 ish)was not expired. They are writing dates on the candy as we do in Sweden DD/MM/YY. Great fun stream! Me and my wife loved it!
Okay... this is one of my favorite New Show Plus episodes! Spending the day shopping with Sarah, Ben and JeffM? Sitting down for a meal, and lessons on proper utensil etiquette? Yes please! I love MinnMax! I wish this was in VR!
Seriously amazing. Love how this was a simple “lets buy a chair!” and quickly descended into madness. Ben’s Fork arc had me foaming at the mouth New Show Plus idea: Destroying Ben’s preconceptions of life
This rules, I watched the whole thing. You guys FULLY KNOW what I want from my gaming news! Omg just as I wrote this, the chat clocked Ben for holding the fork wrong!! 🤣
51:29 The chocolate was NOT expired. You are overlooking the fact that North Americans are the only people who use the MONTH-DAY-YEAR format and that for everyone else, including Norway, where that chcolate comes from, the date goes DAY-MONTH-YEAR, so it will only expire on 5 December 2022.
We just got a board game table and I'm shopping for chairs that we're going to sit in for hours. I sat in a lot of chairs last weekend and there was an obvious difference between the budget store and everywhere else I went. So can confirm, if you're going to spent $300 a chair, you can get something a lot better.
ive never been one to watch streamers doing everyday things outside in the public. but i've been loving these videos. ill be sure to vote on patreon for anything similar to this type of content! keep up the great work MM!
Maybe you can contact a midsize company like Fully and see if they can sponsor your studio. I got my mom a 300 something dollar chair from there and it actually seems like it’s worth $300. If you can’t get a sponsor though, used is the way to go. So many pandemic chairs looking for a home.
30:35 i spent north of 1k for my steelcase chair and i love every moment i put my butt on its cushion. heck, i prefer to sit AND/OR sleep on it than on my sofa, i practically live on it. buy proper chairs, ben. with the kind of work you guys do, it will be better for your health in the long run. i'd say you should shop somewhere else for chairs, although maybe it wont be as much fun for a show. raise the patreon goal!
Great! Love seeing you guys on the spot. The food segment was the best. Keep up the fun extra content! The video with Dan from Giant Bomb having your coworker drive around and order food everywhere was also one of my faves. Maybe start a food channel? Lol
I was actually floored by these prices, because I know how cheap this stuff is quality-wise. The prices definitely used to be cheaper in the not-too-distant past. That said, Hanson was outraged by $209 for an office chair and I'm sitting in a knockoff Aeron that cost $300, because an actual Aeron costs $1,500.
I am an ergonomist and watching this was so funny - the most expensive chair at IKEA does not even complete with the cheapest one from an actually chair manufacturer lol should have hit me up first MM!
well, you can put your recommendations for everyone here. it's common, but i'm thinking herman miller or steelcase. though i don't know if it fit their budget.
honestly you should be looking for used office chairs like herman miller's or steelcase. you will be spending a ton of time in these and it is worth spending the money. if you can get them slightly used they are way cheaper than the 1200 normal price
I'll be completely honest. Anytime there's some sort of content that takes place out in the wild like this, I kinda get a little anxious cause I'm worried somethings bad is gonna happen lol. I keep waiting for you guys to get kicked out or something like that.
"Never cheap out on things between you and the ground." Anybody that thinks IKEA is too expensive is probably young and used to buying unreliable garbage from Walmart. I've had a $200 IKEA office chair for 5 years that has been the best office chair I've ever owned.
For the price of one of those stupid ass "gaming chair", you can get a refurb Herman Miller or Steelcase Leap. I'll never understand people's brain paying $300+ for those cheaply made chairs that look like racing seats... It's like buying one of those beds that look like a racecar, as an adult... lol

Sarah’s regular sass at Ben really rounds out the team dynamic in a great way
It's true, it's hilarous to have this whole whimsical boy-scout who loves games, friends and getting better, and then someone comes in like "get a new shirt you freak!!!"
New show plus is slowly turning into a minnmax slice of life anime and I'm here for it. This was really fun
Sarah's expressionless swivel and leg cross while staring at the camera absolutely killed me for some reason.
This whole stream is the straw that broke the camels back. I'm subbing to the patreon.
Thank you!!!
ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
@@maniac6933 There are DOZENS of us! DOZENSSS

10 minutes in and Sarah's already appalled at Hanson's lack of table measurement.
I love MinnMax for unique videos/streams like this. So fun to watch.
Gotta say Sarah constantly teasing Ben about Game Informer is pretty funny.
What's a Game Informer? *zing*
Ben worked at Game Informer?
The Fork Incident . . . suddenly it makes so much sense why Ryckert & Hanson get along so well.
This is amazing on every level. The shopping, the alternate ways to hold a fork, the expired chocolate. So many good laughs! I hope this series continues!
It's the blue shirt!
he was giving a shit today :P
That's how Sarah knows He's serious about it.
@44:25: i genuinely can't stop laughing. i'm crying! Sorry, Ben, but this was one of the funniest moments of many on New Show +. Don't worry, i often find myself shoveling. Sometimes it's easier.
🍴😂😥
I came here for the zoom bite. Also, Sarah says Ben only wears the blue button-up when he cares, so this must mean he really cares about chairs!
y'all just get weirder and weirder and i'm here for it
Ben may have dyspraxia as that can effect the way you hold a pen and cutlery (source: I've also got dyspraxia) and also the chocolate wasn't expired it's European so it goes day/month/year
This stream remind me of the old Giant Bomb where they did weird random stuff. I'm a new-ish viewer but I like what you guys are doing. :)
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Came for the IKEA meatball zoom in bite.
Was satisfied.
Close up of Hanson eating meatballs is my kind of ikea visit.
Love Sarah’s energy 😃
I genuinely laugh cried watching Hanson learn to eat again.
$1200 on 4 chairs that people will sit on for hours doesnt seem crazy to me....maybe not on THOSE chairs, but in general.
Yo i work for Ikea. The concepts behind how they keep the cost low is legit, but people that work in the warehouse get dicked just like all the other warehouse jobs. The chocolate is not old. 05.12.2022 is December 5th 2022.
Laughed way too hard at the chat cats™️ calling out how Hanson holds his fork
It got me when the "cats" we're guessing the prices lol!
Hey Ben and Sarah, the chocolate you ate (51:10 ish)was not expired. They are writing dates on the candy as we do in Sweden DD/MM/YY.
Great fun stream! Me and my wife loved it!
this is blessed content
I’m waiting on the MinnMax road trip stream playing games on the drop down tv
Okay... this is one of my favorite New Show Plus episodes! Spending the day shopping with Sarah, Ben and JeffM? Sitting down for a meal, and lessons on proper utensil etiquette? Yes please! I love MinnMax! I wish this was in VR!
The chocolate probably expires on 5 December, 2022. Not May 12.
This is correct, they are probably writing dates as we do in Sweden DD/MM/YYYY
Seriously amazing. Love how this was a simple “lets buy a chair!” and quickly descended into madness.
Ben’s Fork arc had me foaming at the mouth
New Show Plus idea: Destroying Ben’s preconceptions of life
Charmingly quirky content like this is a joy
8:37 the most threatening tape measure retract
This rules, I watched the whole thing. You guys FULLY KNOW what I want from my gaming news!
Omg just as I wrote this, the chat clocked Ben for holding the fork wrong!! 🤣
It's now a mukbang video, so now I don't need to vote for that in the next New Show Plus
Loved this weird, but wholesome adventure. Keep it up!
This was fun, more of this! :D

This is fantastic. Is there a link to the music playlist in the bg?
If I didn't know any better I'd swear Sarah and Ben were siblings.
Great! Love seeing you guys on the spot. The food segment was the best. Keep up the fun extra content!

Non-squeaky chairs should be a much higher priority
Chocolate was made in Norway so exp. is 5 Dec 2022 - you're safe!
So many peas.

What an interesting job to have!
Haha yeah, IKEA has its uses for sure but the office chairs are probably some of the worst stuff they make.
well, you can put your recommendations for everyone here. it's common, but i'm thinking herman miller or steelcase. though i don't know if it fit their budget.

Everyone knows MARKUS is the best office chair in IKEA
1200 bucks for FOUR chairs is super cheap guys 🤣 If it's a decent chair anyway. That's what I paid for one Herman Miller.
I'm just gobsmacked by the fork thing. How did Ben go his whole life eating so wrong?
i just want to say that Ben's silverware methods are totally valid
now this is content baby
Y’all are the best.
This is all one unbroken take. Spielberg would be proud.
Commenting to say "keep shopping for chairs"
Great video. Had no clue IKEA sold food.
I'm much less upset about the fork thing than I am about the lingonberry disrespect.
I'll be completely honest. Anytime there's some sort of content that takes place out in the wild like this, I kinda get a little anxious cause I'm worried somethings bad is gonna happen lol. I keep waiting for you guys to get kicked out or something like that.
more content of bringing JeffM to the store!
Good chairs are worth the money. Ikea probably doesn't have good chairs, but you definitely don't want to cheap out.
Ben's nonchalance about measurements has given me the worst anxiety.
I feel like I would have not measured the table either.
Ben just drop 5k on herman Miller chairs everyone's butts and back will appreciate that
JeffM: Minnmax’s official Ass Shopper
I like jeffrom too
did Fight Club tarnish IKEA’s name all those years ago, leaving us with the snarky opinions of it we have today?
"Never cheap out on things between you and the ground."
Anybody that thinks IKEA is too expensive is probably young and used to buying unreliable garbage from Walmart. I've had a $200 IKEA office chair for 5 years that has been the best office chair I've ever owned.
Americans in general use silverware wrong away 😂
: )

I'll never understand people's brain paying $300+ for those cheaply made chairs that look like racing seats...
It's like buying one of those beds that look like a racecar, as an adult... lol
The Swedish meatballs are definitely the go-to menu item at IKEA. 🧆
