I just finished The Bear and the Nightingale and it is fantastic. I love how the story is set up and the blend of rural fairytale lore and local religion.

Oh my God, oh my God, Hailey! I was at Barnes & Noble just last night and I found that Fairy Tales and Folklore book; I wasn't read to buy it so I swear I took five pictures of it so I could add it to my TBR, but then I got home and the pictures were nowhere to be found. I couldn't remember the exact title so I spent half an hour online looking for that book and never found it! But lo and behold you're the first TH-cam video I watch this morning and you have the book! Amazing!
So many of these have the prettiest covers! Like glitter wow! We have our dark duet in our haul this month as well and we are so hyped to read it. Great video!

OMG I've been wanting to read the Loom Saga for so long and now that I just discovered this new series (the Air Awakens) I realize I need to read both. I want to do it soon! All of Kova's books give me good vibes. Thanks for the video, as good as always!

I read Glitter this summer! I was a little hesitant because Danica is very much a young teenager and I've phased out of the Bella Swan narrorator, but this book was absolutely awesome! I can't wait to hear what you think.

Also Courtships and curses is a prequel book to Marissa Doyle’s Bewitching Season and the sequel to that is called Betraying Season and there is also a companion novel to this trilogy called Charles Bewitched. You can read each book as a stand alone but it’s kinda fun reading each book as you will meet new and old characters. Also in all of these books they have different POVs. But hope you enjoy reading this book!!:)

Hi Hailey! If you evet visit the netherlands again, I would love to show you some of the sights! In my opinion, only a native can really show you a bit of the country outside of big tourist attactions. 😋 It kinda warms my heart everytime when you speak so enthusiasticly about our lill country below sea level hahaha
Sounds like "The bear and the nightingale" are actually based on old Russian folk fairy tale called Morozko (also it is a name of a monster, that comes from Russian "moroz" that translates to "frost", so in this book monster's name is pretty accurate). And you're saying Vasilisa correct, only thing - emphasis on 2nd "i" and it will be perfect.
I really like watching your videos,you explain the plots very well and even if I'm not an English native speaker I understand perfectly❤ and of course you make me interested in all these books, I'm going to read all of them even if it means reading them in English😆. Could you do a video on contemporary recommendations? I generally read paranormal and fantasy but trying to expand my horizons. I recently read The Chaos of Standing Still based on one of your previous videos and absolutely loved it. I read it within a few hrs. I need something like that because they usually don’t keep my attention.
I know you don't like syfy but you should try the 57 Lives of Alex Wayfare. I don't really read syfy either it's not something I normally go for but thus series is amazing and I think you might like it. The first two books are out now and two more are expected to be released.
I keep seeing people talking about The Beate and The Nightingale, which made me think it just came out. But I saw there were multiple books out, on goodreads? I think? Also I've had the eBook of Crown's Game for a while but I haven't been able to get around to it. I read a few pages a while ago but didn't get that far in, but I hope to soon!
The sequel is already out that is the girl in the tower.... and the last book in the trilogy comes out in August or July that is the winter of the witch
