Murdoch was a jack of all trades. He could replace everyone on the team when needed. He made plans like hannibal , cons like face and was also strong with mechanical stuff like BA.

Considering Peppard’s disdain for Mr. T, it really is incredible.
Sadly, not off camera. As said, Peppard really disliked Mr. T. Luckily Mr. T. sure how ridiculous it was and would play along with it. Peppard wouldn't talke to Mr. T. directly but go through one of the others so Mr. T. did it back but in a jokey way. He said this in an old interview from years ago.

@@manoman0 indeed. Although George Peppard was top-billed, Mr. T was all the kids’ favourite, he sold the most merchandise and so commanded a bigger paycheque than the rest of the cast, and George didn’t like it one bit.

Mr T is an absolute legend. But there wasn’t a bad member in the A-team. Absolute class tv. They don’t make them like that anymore.
And I've still not made it through the modern day film. It was awful. The fact we ALL know BA hated flying yet in the movie he was suddenly a chopper flier.

Reg Barclay was an underappreciated genius in Starfleet, too. I would have loved to have seen an alternate reality where he became the ENT-D's Chief Engineer.

I have the entire series on DVD and just watched the entire episode. This one is definitely one of my faves. Murdock is my favorite character and I felt so bad for him!!

If he was part of the team, I wonder what his function would've been? I mean, everybody in the team knows how to build gadgets, modify cars, assemble explosives the works. In my opinion, I think he would've made a great scout, surveillance expert or a cameleon. What do you think?

That plane is HUGE.
On the outside the plane is a 747 but I'm quite certain the interior shots were taken from a Lockheed L-1011 Tristar. As a kid, I loved flying on those. It was my absolute favorite airliner (I could only dream of flying on the Concord). Everything about the airliner reeked of quality and attention to details. Notice the lack of center-row over-head bins. It made the cabin spacious and open. An added plus to this was that the airliner featured the largest movie projection screen ever. It was like being in a movie hall!
In contrast, I remember when I first saw a DC-10 and thought, "Sheesh! What an ugly bird!" In sharp contrast, the DC-10 felt like a cattle-car and I hated flying on those.
This show should come back on,
would not last on public TV with todays softies, they would cry every ist in the book.

I remember at the end of the episode that they replicate the scene from the movie Airplane where the plane's nose enters the terminal. Smith then says "I love it when a plan comes together."
It wasn't a replication. It was the actually scene.

I loved that show! The characters were great; I especially loved Murdock and can never forget his line from an episode where he was told that he would be the 'secret weapon!' And he said, "I dont want to be a secret weapon; I want to be an exposed weapon!" Hilarious....I'm still tickled by this 😂 Does anyone know if and where reruns are streamed online? I can't seem to get full episodes here on TH-cam. I live in the Caribbean so it's not easy for me to get reruns of those fabulous shows 🙁 Oh, the episode is "Showdown;" I Googled 😀

George can actually fly a one engine plane. He took the license before filming The blue max in1966.
Nice to know. I do wish his stunt double at least had the right color hair, though. George's hair was grey-white, not blond. I still love this show, though! Loved it since I first saw it in the 80s.
At 3:50 Mr T asks Murdoch What did Hannibal say? Just after that Murdock climbs up through a porthole look at his left shoulder you can see someone's hand attempting to help him up or stopping him from falling odd mistake aside brilliant show though.

Yeah, thats why you should NEVER wrap your hands around a revolver, if you do, you'll have serious burns and your skin will probably imediately peal off. Except of very few revolvers that use special cartriges and when the trigger is pulled the cylinder goes forward.
