Recently discovered your channel and find it fascinating, Mate. Yankee here, Army combat infantry Vietnam veteran. I took my R&R in Sydney in early 1969. Developed a fondness for Reesch's Dinner Ale and the Aussies then. It was steel cans and church keys back in the day. ... I think you might be able to save on gas by compacting the aluminum cans before putting them in the crucible. ... Here in the States, we melt wheelweights and cast projectiles for our firearms. I love ejecting nice shiny lead alloy bullets from my molds. They perform very well and are much easier on the bore than cupronickel jacketed projectiles - coefficient of friction is much less with lead. ... Melt on, Mate!

Someone who drinks like that really doesn't get drunk they just maintain my dad used to drink like thatit's hard to get drunk when you drink like that you got a drink like twice the amount that you normally drink plus 😂 he drinks that amount just to stay calm

Its the doggy, flip flops and pulling shht on his wife; that keeps it so fresh! 🥰
Things to know.
Inside the cans is a thin film of plastic. Hard to get rid of.
Tops and tabs are aircraft aluminum. But rest of the can is thin.
I used to melt cans in a old dutch oven. Over coals. Takes time but hey it works. Tabs used to be worth money. Different grade.
Old cans from back in the day were steel.

l love your shows. l keep watching all your shows over and over. And l am very lucky. a huge metal scrap truck hauling old copper and brass scrap rolled over at the corner of our block. I was very fortunate to be aloud to have all the brass and copper scrap as l wanted.

Oh man this is how I have been spending my weekends. It's some hot work, but you get to hold something after your done so it's worth it.

My reaction to seeing this video: "YES finally!!!" You should make this a regular thing, like every 5th or 10th video is a Beer Bullion melting video. You can even mix it up by adding copper, brass, tin, etc.

We did this exact thing well they were just cans but we put then in one of those steal cans for like greens beans and we got molten aluminum from a bonefire

I work at the Smelting company here at the Philippines, your passion to do this is awesome i wonder if i could do this at home and start melting lots of leadspills and other elements the i have. More power sir.
Arnel Purisima i made a forge like his but i used wood and charcoal with a hand held electric vacuum set on blower mode. I just had to feel a lot of wood into it or less charcoal. I melted lots of beer cans but my first melt got so hot that i melted my cast iron crucible. I never wanted to spend money on anything... my old neighbors drank lots of beer and didn’t care if i took the cans.
I really want to try that beer. Was at an Australian-themed bar (yankee here) that served Toohey's, and I ran my tab way too high on it!

Cold beer? Is this the norm for down under? Don't they drink it warn in the other place? I've tried beer at room temp it's not horrible just different. I do enjoy the hot metal zone.
In australia we can get temps so hot that cans explode.
And a warm can of beer is just Kimberly cool. Still taste like ar©E though 😆😆
