Thanks for posting and NO were not about to try it. The N3N was approved for the inverted spin because in a normal spin, she did not want to recover due to the design of the tail. The NAF knew it and this video was the fix.

Why don't they make such informative and clear tutorials anymore for flight training??!!

The N3N-3 I fly has a placard "intentional spins prohibited"
"If your engine falls off in the spin, release yourself from the seat, and use your ripcord".
You may have been watching to many aerobatic videos' don't you think !!!!.

Shocking how many similarities between this procedure and T-34/T-6 spin recovery procedures.
I never liked doing spins , specially just after breakfast !
Stearman... shows you your errors by killing you.They don't recover without positive action by the pilot.
