Yes I did see it . Glad it helped the shifting .. time to crawl around on the floor hahaha Man to only have a lift .. but hey I am in the same boat .. laying on the ground
Dragon thanks for dropping by. Checked out your channel cool stuff. I actually lived in Japan for a year and loved the people and the country. Would love to get back there someday.
how did the seafoam transtune work out? I have a 2001 Maxima 202K miles (well now 205K miles) with P0744 code, it was shifting very bad. I did a drain the Fluid that came out was dark mostly and brown in spots. no metal flakes or bad smell. I filled back with Valvoline Synthetic maxLife ATF and put in a bottle of lucus. After that it was drivable. Also got better the more it was driven, I cleared the codes after the drain fill, and the same code came back 72 miles later. continued to drive as it was better still not right but better then after 900 miles cleared the code and it came back not as fast , continued to clear the code and drive . in cycles . it some as it was Much better the more it was driven. Then about 3k miles after Checking the fluid again it was dark so I decided to do another drain fill . Fluid that came out was dark again but with a red tint. Filled it up again with MaxLifeATF again and Lucus. it was alot better and the shutter from a complete stop went away and it did shift better. but still P0744 code came up at > 50mph it seems randomly. Fluid does look alot better in it but I am thinking of doing a 3rd drain-fill to complete a flush (this is actually a Honda procedure to do a flush I am applying to a high mileage Nissan , to do 3 drain-fill-drive and not use machine) I am thinking of using seaFoam TransTune just before the 3rd drain-fill to complete the flush. I am thinking the issue is a Sticking TCC Solenoid. It use to have issues for all shifting gears but now it seems that's gotten better with the 2 drain-fills with lucus. This car is my son's first car and he doesn't have alot of $ for repairs just trying to help him out. other than this issue it runs great, has a rear main seal oil leak (AT-205 and using High milage oil is helping that) your thoughts ?
If you see the video you will find out that it worked out great for me. I would say try the sea foam. It doesn’t cost much but if it works could save you a ton of money. Let me know how it works out. th-cam.com/video/CC1wGPYBMT0/w-d-xo.html
@@TechnMoto thanks.. I just added a can of it to a 2001 Nissan Maxima it was having some issues with P0744 , and shifting. I highly suspect sticking valve(s) or Solenoid(s) on valve body. so far seems better , gong to drive it or my son for 1000 miles before doing a drain and fill for ATF for the 3rd time. I am doing the 3 drain fills over a short period of time to do a Flush. th-cam.com/video/t0_xgIJYu2s/w-d-xo.html

only do it this way in transmission oil

Maybe but I was not reusing it. I always replace gaskets.
