A 300 MVA, 20 KV, 3 Phase generator has a reactance of 20%.The generator Supplies load over a transmission line of 64 km as shown in one line diagram. The ratings of the components are given below:
Transformers 1: 350 MVA, 20/ 230 KV, X= 10%
Transformers 2 : 300 MVA, 230/13.2 KV, X= 10%
Transmission Line : X = j0.5 Ohms/Km
Load A: 60 MW, 0.9 power factor lagging
Load B: 15MVAr, 10KV, Δ-connected Capacitor
Load C: 300MVA, 0.8 lagging power factor at 11KV
Load D: 52MW+j66MVAr, 12KV
