really underrated movie imo. shows the fog of war and little if no political fallout of what happened that led to this night. just six men that fought back without orders to defend the compound. i really recommend reading the book too, written by Mitchel Zuckoff. He writes it with the help of the surviving members of that team.

This scene really captures the panic and sense of dread from the embassy staff, but it really boils my blood to watch it knowing how the Obama Administration left these men to die and then lied about it to the faces of their families.
While Obama deserves Blame, people also need to Blame Congress as well. Obama sent Hillary Clinton to Congress requesting permission to send additional resources congress denied the request but in the end Obama could have also signed a executive order and sent the additional resources needed
Regardless we’re flicking back and forth between sunlight and darkness among dual scenes that are meant to be happening simultaneously. Pretty poor film direction. Hard to film a sequence like this at dawn, but still the final cinematic product suffers if you mess up enough small details like this.

What bugs me is that RPG’s are not cheap (I believe). How those 2 guys just randomly shot and wasted their rockets on absolutely nothing is just painful to watch. Not to mention how the rockets curve like that, they are like bullets, going straight until slowly moving more down, but that should not happen before reaching some hundreds of meters

The compound was several acres large, so probably just a perspective error on Bays part
RPGs start curving down by meters within 250-300 which is why the ranging ladder goes up so high
