Interesting fact: Vanessa Williams' hit song 'Save The Best For Last' was originally recorded by Shari for this album and planned as the lead single before the record label took the song off the album. Shari's version has never been released/leaked
Before Shari was offered a record deal from Metronome Records due to her popularity on the hit TV show Hotel (1983-1988), she recorded a song from the 1985 comedy horror film The Midnight Hour, in which she also starred. Shari is also the daughter of Calypso/Pop legend Harry Belafonte.
