      well tbh you cost your parents 1M whereas these fish made their owners 1M.

    • @江城银
      @江城银 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kombinatsiya: Here’s the thing, the fish is an investment with with rapid yield(in comparison to children)while children obviously take much more time to nurture with more uncertain chances of yield(due to the uncertainty of the job market for gen z); with that mentioned, even if I am an investment that’s a little more “iffy”(in terms of yield), the long term benefits of investing* in your children will pay off in a Chinese/Asian family dynamic. Since filial piety(part of the said family dynamic), dictates that I must respect my elders by keeping them in the house and not send them off to a nursing home, I in turn will care for them in the form of sending them money, paying their bills when requested to, and buying gifts for them which will more or less pay off my debt of them caring for me(basically I’m eventually going to reciprocate/repay what I cost my parents in the future). So your statement of making me sound like a failed investment really isn’t well thought out.
      *it’s been shown - especially in terms of Asian success in the US job market - the amount of money spent on prep combined with the tiger parenting of Asian parents aids with improving the chances of Asians in finding successful careers; hence the reason why the Asian minority in the US has more people with high paying jobs, relative to other minorities(which also happened to give Asians an inaccurate title of the “model minority”).

    once, I went on a trip with my church's Youth group to Coldwater Creek Gardens, and they had a greenhouse with koi swimming in these water tanks you could walk over and peek in. And the koi would poke their heads out, and let you pet them.
    Never thought a fish'd let you pet it!

    • @nurnadhirahsaing6169
      @nurnadhirahsaing6169 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's cool! I'd love to pet one if I've got the chance but I'm afraid I'll hurt the fish because human body temperature is higher than fish. Not to mention my palms are pretty warm.

    Fun Fact: koi fish in Japanese translation would turn out to be "fish fish " because in Japanese "koi" means "fish"

      It's wrong. "Sakana" means fish in japanese. "Koi" is one of the type of fish.
