- Small scale off-roading is, well, growing! There are a bunch of options in the 1/24th segment now and we’re seeing more and more attention to model design. Carisma has been in the small-scale crawler segment with the MSA-1E, but they’ve learned some stuff about their car and have released the next version, the 2.0 Spec. In this video Greg gives you an overview of these tiny unique cars and tells you about the changes made to them. Always loved the Subaru Brat body. Ever since the Tamiya Subaru Brat. Always wanted one but never had one. Would get the crawler just for the body. Seems to handle well.

Well first I can’t believe someone had a Carisma RC test video. I’ve had a 1:10 scale Carisma Karma 2.1 with upgraded esc & programer. It’s been kind of a love hate relationship but pretty much love now. I purchased it & it fell apart on the first time out within 10 min. So the story is the driveshaft pin fell out & the driveshaft fell out. I notified Carisma the same day but unfortunately it took forever to get parts & my new Crawler sat for a few weeks. And that is the issue it’s a Korean based company & parts are not always available. Now they did send me a new pin & spring & told me what the issue was so now other then a new wheelset with bigger wheels I’ve done nothing to it & after a few other small issues I’ve worked out the bugs & id have to say it performs better then some of my more expensive Crawlers. I love how it looks also very scale. For the price it was well worth it but it’s the parts available that is the problem. None the less I have nothing bad to say about my Karma. I’m hoping one day they really enter the 1:10 scale more with quality Crawlers. They have some 1:10 scale out & there also pretty good. Love that Brat it would be good for a kid😂

I wish they would reproduce a new 1:24 ecx barrage. Before scx24 got mini crawling popular, and before the wide variety of available upgrades and replacement parts, I think that the 1:24 barrage was the most capable after a few Lil adjustments and tweaks. I've never been a big fan of the carisma minis. I have both the red brat, and black pickup (coyote?).
I like that but if I had to I word changed the tires and put the scx24 upgrade tires on it because that's what I do I take parts from different small crawler trucks and put them on small crawler trucks that I costumed

I’ve got the red Ford F-150, great little trucks and they have really good oil filled shocks from charisma that fit perfectly and work great

Good to see some more rigs in the 1/24 scale, up against some stiff competition with the fms fcx 24 though.
Yup! More competition is better for us hobbyists.

The brat looks cool. Seems like same old rebrand of Banggood RGT stuff. I’d be in on the brat if it was a usable ute or at much better price point. Especially since it has a nimh battery.

They gonna have to do a lot better than that at that price point. Axial and FMS have them beat performance wise all day
Lots of competition in the segment, but one thing I learned in this hobby a looong time ago. People often just buy what they like.
