We recently flew between Sydney and Chennai on Malaysia Airlines and loved the experience. If only their equipment was newer, infotainment would have been better, otherwise pretty impressed with their service.

At which time u made ur presence at airport for this 11:45 departure?
As usual fantastic .. keen to know why chennai with so much of geogrphical advantage as a city with so many foreign tourists still losing to Hyderabad and Bangalore airports in terms of passenger traffic . I mean there is such differnece in domestic passenger count betn che and the other two metros of south . Despite chennai having more international travelers still a distant 6th busiest while nlre at 3rd and Hyd at 4 th the last two years
Simple reason we all know.... It is managed by gov owned AAI they do zero marketing.. They never provide Adequate facilities to Aircrafts.. So many Airlines skipped the operation because of poor management by AAI.There is no hope until the Airport gets privatised.

Some of the reasons are the infrastructure of the airport. Bangalore and Hyderabad have come a long way in terms of infrastructure. Both the airports are capable of handling the A380. The main reason for that is space constraints at Chennai.
Also a decade back we were only behind Mumbai and Delhi in terms of passenger traffic, but due to lack of expansion in terms of airlines, we have been losing out to BLR and HYD as you mentioned. Even in domestic, other than Indigo, we just have minimal connection offered by Vistara, Akasa, SpiceJet etc as compared to the other metros down south. Also not just this but also politics involved has slowed down the growth of Chennai.
Could have shown some interesting interiors and duty free areas...

Yes. This video was taken during the end of May this year. Still have a few videos in the pipeline when we used the old terminal. Trying to produce them at the earliest😃

Why the Kathipara junction is not seen?
We used runway 25 for take off. It departs and flies over Pallavaram which is the opposite side

Correct. Though these days they are generally addressed as T-1, T-2 etc.

Hello. It takes atleast a minimum of 15 mins. But it depends on the rush and timing. I’ve spent even close to 45 minutes on one of the occasion.

Absolutely💯I feel with the offerings they have in place with the new cabin, they are more feeling like a hybrid airline rather than a full service carrier with whom they were competing in the likes of Singapore or Thai
