Talking about the aircraft model place in KLIA,I saw them on my way to Singapore from Delhi in India as well.And my favourite one is the Emirates A380,because it is the world’s largest passenger aircraft!

I used to travel in MH 15 years ago and the aircraft was wide body A330 if I am right and food used to be on par with SQ. Unfortunately most airlines have come down on the economy class food including SQ! Emirates Economy food is by far the best in recent times in terms of quantity!

You are correct. I myself have travelled on their A330 from Chennai back in 2012. They had then downgraded the equipment to a B737 but started operating twice instead of once daily.
Regarding the food, true. Especially I was surprised with the MH catering in terms of the spread. Though personally I feel Thai was on par with SQ in terms of food, quality and quantity, having travelled on both in the last few months😃
KLIA is just superb, on par with Changi in Singapore. What a crying shame that Chennai airport is so awful with the international arrivals building in such a derelict and crumbling state. A shock to first time visitors to Chennai.
Though I feel putting it on same pedestal as Changi wouldn’t do justice to Changi itself. KLIA is a fantastic airport, but Changi is more of an airport city in itself. Yes, until now arrivals were used using the old international building. But with international operations shifted to the new terminal T-2, it’s a matter of time before the old terminal gets demolished and rebuilt
@@aerowanderer Thank you. The sooner the old Chennai airport international building is demolished the better. And it is hoped the new Terminal 2 arrivals wing will have sufficient Immigration/Passport control officials on duty to minimise delays & inconvenience to arriving passengers.
