it's definitely a bit faster than the original, which isn't a problem by itself, but that made you skip some of the grace notes and accents that give the song more character
I’m a bari player also I’ve played for almost 6 years. 2 things I will say... you are very good technically. But your tone could use some improvement. What I would recommend is really focus on keeping The back of your throat very wide and open while still maintaining good support on the reed. Practice this technique with long tones up the 12 major scales and you’ll be outstanding. Keep it up!
Skyguy 1 I don’t think so. I have been playing bari and alto for 13 years and I can say he has an excellent sound. Maybe the sound just isn’t your personal preference? Because his sound would only match some genres. For example his sound would not be good for classical. Maybe you prefer a more classical sound?
Aidan Park yeah my own preference could very much be a factor of what I said. My personal preference with the Bari is to keep a dark, rich, and big sound in most musical settings.
Thanks for the advice. I've been playing the saxophone for 15 years... Of course, I also play classical music. In this video, I tried to reproduce the original sound as much as possible.
Some say Leo finally found a way to shed his skin... but we found him again
