I leave in Fort Lauderdale close to this stadium 🏟. There has been a stadium already before and it has to be adapted for the area that was already there . I think they did a fantastic job considering the area and the amount of space they have !!
I'm not impressed. It looks like a glorified high school football field. A professional soccer stadium should be built, where the seating and the lower end only bowl are totally enclosed. Having the stadium enclosed makes for much better acoustics, and more importantly the fans will be that much louder, creating a true homefield advantage.
Half ass job imo, considering what they did with hard rock and marlins park this stadium is a huge swing and miss. I do like the foundation but would like to see some covering at some point. They should also raise the field a bit I think that would make the sight lines magnificent.
