You're already losing a damage link, it would be pointless for this support to exist if it also hurt your damage. What you're thinking of is the nerf to Minion Damage Support. That support now causes your minions to have less life.
Also gem levels + minion life + hypothermia is REALLY good for exploding SRS with skitters. 8:41 was actually pog af, that mana regen lets you spam cast your SRS. Edit. Nvrmd...10:00 wins.
Yeah I was gunna say the same thing…life is fine, especially since the have been constantly nurfing minion like in the last couple of leagues so life is more important than ever imo. No life is an interesting choice tho.

Personally I think having the final craft at the beginning is a good thing. And it isn't done in some clickbaity way that feel disingenuous. 1. For newer players they are able to see what is feasible within a 10min crafting video (unless alt spamming and maven aren't being fun) and gives them something to watch for the specific steps leading up to the final product 2. For people who know a little more about crafting, they can pin point where your goals are looking at the video's start with the finished project and be able to follow along up to a certain point if they want to go for something more personal for their build. Either way, this has been best crafting method of showing it live and not in Craft of exile. Though ive used the tool more than I have played the game at this point it seems, the live crafting just feels like a better medium of translating the process out. Keep up the great work!

harvest is still in the game something you can do is "reroll much likely to keep mods" its not guaranteed, but you know another roll you could take, but late in the league it probably doesnt matter

If you want good rolls on all modifiers, the second method (bound fossil only + prefixes cannot be changed + reforge cold) should be cheaper according to craft of exile. Using frigid + bound to hit +3 with minion damage 20, hypothermia 16+ is ~3500c (~21ex) whereas you can hit +3 and minion damage 20 for ~660c (~4ex) and then do prefixes cannot be changed + reforge cold with 5 expected tries to hit hypothermia 16+ (for 10ex) or 13 expected tries to hit hypothermia 20. EDIT: you can actually hit +3 with minion damage 20 using only 2.5ex by using bound + pristine + dense (blocking life and defense modifiers). However, you block life and minion life this way so it might not be the best option.
Better the result at the end i cover my eyes every time you show the final craft, btw if I was you I would sold the +2 hypotermia and minion dmg and get new base. Or it was not worth?

why not roll +3 / 20 with bound fossils then use cannot change prefixes and harvest spam reforge item with cold modifiers in order to get hypothermia on it? thats much easier and cheaper imo. or maybe it doesnt work anymore, idk. if you want the mirror tier version you will have to spam the essence until you also hit crit + hypothermia. then you reroll the prefixes until you get +3/20
@@Lolcohol Yeah I rocked a SO Spectre build this league. 150% Carrion Golem buff effect gives far more DPS (because it's base phys DPS) than a wimpy 40% spectre damage enchant. That's because your abyss jewels already stack massive amounts of %increased damage.
This is technically possible but craftofexile thinks it will cost about 3000 horror essences on average to get t1 minion damage and +3 minion gems on top of more elemental damage. This puts the average cost of the craft at a little over 88,000 chaos or roughly ~600 exalts. Plus, if you went with the horror essence, that's a suffix, so you couldn't reforge cold for hypothermia unless you were willing to brick the more elemental damage. If you wanted t1 hypothermia on the roll as well, that would be an average of 262,000 horror essences, which equals to a little under 8 million chaos, or roughly 52,000 exalts, according to craftofexile. So yeah, while theoretically possible, I wouldn't even bother trying. The average investment to hit it will be over a hundred times more than what anybody is willing to pay for it.
Even though im not playing POE anymore watching this makes me feel the pain again on crafting. There are just too many mods on the game atm and if they dont fix the crafting system like adding more fossils or another form of currency to minimize the spamming (less RNG) i dont know if that alone would bring people back to the game (not me at least). Still love to watch your videos
If you watch any videos of the lead developer, he doesnt like people being able to craft what they want easily, so if anything theyll add more junk mods just to make it harder

There’s probably a better way to craft this helmet to get +30 ele damage. You can get minion life easily somewhere else like in the tree for example. This was a pretty basic crafting video, still nice to watch for people who struggle. ;)

Minion life is perfectly fine, that adds some extra survivability to the spectres, i prefer it over crafting life or flat ES

in fact, there is better enchant for some spetres (e.g. SO, which benefits from AS), like "flesh offering grants an additional 21% IAS"

fossils dont work with metacraft
Remember if you have a open prefix and missing a +3 minion gem prefix, u can slam if using beasts

The gazzy video is 6months old and using old harvest, this helmet is almost impossible to craft in current day.
