Shouldn't you have blocked life leach and auged life with harvest? Not sure what the cost of that craft was at the time but it gives you 3000/9600 to hit better than bench life and 1600/9000 to hit LGoH which isn't a complete brick for cyclone. Then you finish it off with whatever crafted mod you want (-mana cost/damage/etc) or life if you hit LGoH.
I started playing PoE a few weeks ago and only just finished act10 yesterday, I barely understand what is going on and why. It’s extremely informative and entertaining still.
Incase you also wondering why is 4-16 physically dmg is tier 1 and such a hoo ha. its because if you only do 1 damage and your build provides you a 100% increase in physical dmg, you will only do 2 damage. where if i do 8 dmg, then 100% means i will do 16 damage. So the higher your base value the more that 100% increase means to you. Thats how you scale damage. Then there is how much crit chance you have to increase dmg further. Then there is crit multiplier to further increase crit dmg. Then there is how much of your dmg can penetrate, from curses or debuffs you can apply to enemy.
probably the best advice i can give you is your first account do everything and learn what is everything and understand why builds works instead of blind copying like i used to do, and after learning enough and crafting etc and going standard after whatever league is on, start fresh character on a league start
theres much to learn, especially crafting if you learn the meta crafting you will save time, currency and get stronger for cheaper, or even get lucky with insane item
Finishing suggestion: Craft -7 mana then aug life and prayge? I’m still learning. I actually managed to figure out a FI COC ring on craft of exile cause of these videos 👍🏾
this is beauty. its kinda hard to wish about more from ring slot in damage purposes... yes melee dmg instead of evastion rating would be better, but you know its about 2% of your damage anyway, wich isnt that much, while this is probably not even 1/10 of ring impact. and when your item is at 90%+ of it maximum power, this is usually far beyond an acceptable stopping point
these crafting guides are so fucking good, now I finally understand how to do some of these things and even got ideas of items to do myself, only problem is that I need awakener orbs and I'm playing ssf :(
What happens if when you use the annulment you eliminate one of the useful suffixes (critical or mark)? should you start the whole process over? Hey, you seem to be building an Unnarmed Cyclone Gladiator build. Naturally, if you want more DPS in the future, you'll transition to a Impale version of the same build, so I'll suggest a video based on that assumption. You can craft Impale Gloves with Elevated Hunter's Impale (Very strong mod) and Elevated Redeemer's Physical damage if Crit recently (or Elevated Warlord's Melee Damage). If you're lucky, you can even get Critical Strike chance + Chaos Damage from an unveil (which since Cyclone is a source of many attack per second, becomes insane). Too bad I left the League to early on, I'd love to help with currency to fund these videos.

I'm already working on transitioning because this build has way too many uniques and I want to craft things :) I'll probably make that pair of gloves but I have a sick pair of Hands of the High Templar that I'm also tempted to use. And hey - if you're back next league, I'm always open to viewer funded crafts :D
when i compare lvl 12 curse on hit with lvl 20/21 curse, the dps difference is pretty significant. but u only do it on end bosses basically, bcs casting the curse/mark/whatever is dps downtime as well... im not sure if i want a mod like that, what u think bout that? (im not talking bout cyclone, but sst)
Yeah you do need currency to do this tier of crafting. Getting currency is all about having a good build, having a solid strategy and doing it over and over and slowly generating wealth. It takes time to get right, but yeah - find something you find fun that makes a bit of money and just keep doing it !
The last step should probably have been: Benchcraft "suffixes cannot be changed" Buy/Run T4 Aisling for a 50/50 to remove the benchcraft and get 60 life, 23% damage or minus mana cost. If it fails and removes the T1 phys, you can always "suffixes cannot be changed" again and use harvest "phys reforge". If you get 3 prefixes and cannot use "suffixes cannot be changed", you can spam "reforge keep suffix" til you get an open prefix.
I would've liked to do this! But I think you can only have one unveiled mod per item :( At least that's what Craft of Exile says but I've never tried it in game

Instead of the exalt slam at the end you could do another suffix cannot change and do a t4 aisling which is another 50/50, but you could hit something like increased damage % if it takes away the suffix cannot change instead of the flat phys damage. But great ring mate.
I'm currently crafting a T1 Vulnerability Diamond Ring and got lucky with a T2 "Increase Melee Damage Prefix". So it's still magic now. Is it actually a thing to change the catalysts to lets say "Prismatic catalysts" now before I Regal it? Does that increase the chances to get a res mod from the Regal Orb?
It used to increase the odds when exalting and possibly regaing but they changed that this patch :( either you need to imprint and regal and hope or go for the Yolo regal and then multimod it! Depends how rich you are

Probably a dumb question, but if you wanted tier 1 life, why didnt you just do suffixes cannot be changed and throw a life essence on it to guarantee t1 or better life
Not a dumb question! Metacrafts prevent the use of essence on items :) also, essences of greed give life regen or life leech on rings instead of flat life!
To your "instead of yolo exalt" question, if you want to go expensive, you could buy an augment from TFT (that's better than blocking and hoping). I would craft life to block and augment life, which would guarantee you either hit physical life leech or life gained for each enemy hit by your attacks (Elder). Either is a great mod so you can't lose. Note this mostly works because you chose Poacher's Mark (Elder). Ironically, if you went with Assassin's Mark (Shaper), there's no similarly good guaranteed option.
Yeah it'd have to be an augment influence which is like 30ex :( glad I didn't miss something obvious but I reckon that's probably one of the only ways to maybe get something not totally bad
@@Lolcohol Haha silly me, forgot about that nerf. If you are just going to ex slam, a cheaper way is to beastcraft (add a mod to a (blank) influence item). It's little known it seems but the beasts (you need 2 of them) cost much less than an ex. I use them when crafting expensive stuff to cut down on cost (you can get 3-5 tries per ex depending on the league's market).

I think at the time it was a facebreaker crit cyclone build but I've now changed it into a Surrender block crit cyclone build. I'll try to do a build showcase before the league is over!

It's far too random and cost only about 25% less than what I did :) it was super unlikely I hit flat phys that way

It doesnt add influence mod it just adds a mod to influenced item

Couldn't you just use Deafening Essence of Contempt at the stage with the roll of physical damage? Essence values are one tier higher

Augment influence? NO! Ruin slam? YEA!
Hell yeah. Aug influence is like 40ex and would probably give me something just as bad :D I'd rather do more reforge Phys than aug influence
Why dont you slaming the warlord exaulted orb, same price as exaulted orb but higher chance to hit good one.
Because you can't slam a warlord ex (or any influenced ex) on an influenced item.
did a similar almost god tier woke orb the other day, ass mark + multi, and it rolled melee damage T2 dex and T2 life with open prefix.

I mean it's not really crafting it's just rng yolo, you can do that with much more targeted crafting with t1 life and adds # to # phys :)
